I don't have too much to do right now, and I started to ask me the question: "How would be the Perfect Game?" I will try to give the brief description, and I would like to know your opinion about it, and new ideas... Just food for the brains... - It would have the basic gameplay of GTA4. - Character customization and interface with the world, quests and NPCs as Oblivion, with classes, skills, perks, etc... - You would be able to create houses, just like the Sims... - Your character would be able to become professional fighter, and the gameplay shifts to Tekken... - Or a professional driver, and the gameplay becomes like Grid or Dirt - You could join the NASA super secret project and travel to another planetary system, meet some aliens and live there, like Freelancer Just to make this clear, I'm not high, or anything... I'm only thinking that gaming is becoming boring, with it's styles and genres... And I know that mixing gameplays is very hard, since your game can become "not good in anything"... But imagine that this would be possible? Any more ideas on how to improve this game?
LOL I'm not a big fan of GTA, but you have to agree that is a very good example of open sand box world... You can walk, enter buildings, get cars... This would be the only aspect that I would use from that game, I think...
I would take Fallout 3/New Vegas, [Prototype], or inFamous as a better open world game But I get what you are saying. In this game you are creating, the Protagonists has to do drugs. Like a lot of them. That is my imput. LOL
So your perfect game is life (if not a bit more extravagant). You are already in the 'perfect game'. Enjoy it.
You know, I thought about this... But the twist is that something really bizarre could happen on that world... And then you add the best of Resident Evil, Dead Space and Fear in the pot... Nevertheless, it was a nice comeback madmud... I just don't want you to think that I'm some freak plugged to a gaming gadget... God knows how I enjoy life... )
Someday, somehow, someone is going to have to explain this Enviro-nonsense to me. Actually, save your breath, it won't register.
I just want a giant (like 500 miles) map where you're a soldier, and have to use actual tactics and teamplay to take bases and forts. There'd be different companies and squads and such. There could also be a stealth aspect, where if you pay a higher price, or play for long enough, you can go on secret missions with other players as spec-ops and take down entire bases. It'd have tanks, helis, and all sorts of transportation. There'd be urban warfare in a giant city, a rural area for sniping and much more on the map. But once again, the main aspect would be that you can't just go in, noob tubes a blazing and win. You'd need to carefully plan out your attack and carry it out.
See the "Perfect" game is different for everyone, frankly I think a game that mixes COD MW2, Dirt 2, GTA4, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Ape Escape (first one), and assasin's creed would make the perfect game. Hell give me ape escape on a playstation 1 and i would be happy. That is the best game I have EVER EVER EVER EVER played. ever.
i just want a huge, detailed, highly interactive open world with enterable buildings. You would have access to a plethora of weapons (more than gta and FPS games). If you shot at buildings, they would crumble down in explosions. Drviable destoryable cars. Basically a huge open world where anything could be interacted with and destroyed. Needs some rivers or lakes, bridges which could be destroyed, great physics, detailed, realistic look. Pedestrians would be cut exactly where you cut them, if you had a cutting weapon. They can talk to you and interact with you. You can get married, have a relationship, a job, etc. A mix of the sims, GTA4, FPS, driving, multiplied by 1000. I'd give my couch for a game like that
So, your saying a mashup of every single decent or better game to man. Uum, there's a reason there are SEPARATE GAMES!!! This game would take way too long and too much money and work. It would come out on the Xbox 1080 and the PS5 I'm sure. God this thread is a fail.
I would sort of go with this and say that an FPS, but with a more strategic standpoint is what I want at the moment. You are not only able to zoom out on the action, see the battle as a whole and then be able to move units and groups of soldiers (just like any RTS) but then go in and join in the action. I hate the mindset that we have for FPS's now days. They seem so unoriginal and most importantly, don't seem to have a purpose. In my concept, the idea is that every battle counts and gets you closer to your goal. If you lose a battle then your will have to re-strategise and make back that loss, but it is not the end of the world. I guess what I am imagining is StarWars Battlefront, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but with more strategy. Oh and less Starwars and more COD.
hmm... perfect game you say? Id go with original Pokemon, but where you could actually accept the offer and become part of the Team Rocket and steal/sell Pokemon. Or become a gym leader! ...nerdgasm xP
