A New iPod Touch?

so hear is the question will gen 4 ipod touch cost more than whats listed on apples webpage now? i have only put 500.00 away for one.

It'll most likely cost less than 500 dollars.

 

i hope so. however, i am going with the largest they offer.. this 32 gig is a little small when i load music+apps.. its fine if i just use it for apps and couple cds worth of music.

would be nice if apple offered a larger one than 64gig like the classic is larger i think its 120gigs..

270 - be sure if you go with a 8gig model make damn sure its gen 4 and not like what they did with gen 3 8 gig.. thats like a gen 2.5.

yeah i would of been too. pretty low of apple to even call/sell it as a gen 3 a little miss leading ( yeah some fanboys says it your fault for not doing your homework.. well blah.. ) .. but then im not sure what apples calls these things.

I think the jump from speed of the new Touch will be a big difference from the earlier models. You might not think you'll notice, but you will if it's anything like the iPhone 3G to iP4 performance.

well i thought a camera but after I thought about it some I dunno how much i would use the camera.. not sure..
but a internal mic.. heck yeah i would use that every day.. that is what i really want a internal mic!

I would be surprised to see a 5mp camera considering the thin profile of previous iPod touch generations. If Apple does this, the thickness will be the same as the iPhone 4 and most assuredly it will be blocky like the iPhone 4. We will have to wait until September to see the final product I guess.

 

So what did you mean then? Because the fradulent actions of one person don't reflect on the entire company as a whole.

 

i meant the image. and as far as im concern it dose effect the image of the company from regular joes point of view.

obv this is my opinion.. which in the grand scope of things means very little. as you pointed out they are doing very well $$ so far.


the rumor of apple releasing info on the ipod this weekend was false unless they come out on Monday but id imagine they would give us notice before..

After the ridiculous mac vs pc stuff, and the over-hyped "death grip", all I see is a company which has consistently made good products.

Yea, I won't be getting an 8 gig though. It's not enough space. I made that mistake with my current iPod.

 

I think its a it suspicious not to mention a retiner display seeing as it's so amazing. Also, what happened to the compass? Surely it's more likely to get the compass than gyro as iPT always seems one generation behind iPhone.
