Following seeing this: http://www.t3.com/news/t3-called-it-xbox-game-pass-to-launch-on-1-june-offers-netflix-style-games-subscription Would this be successful for iphone/ipad games? I mean as theres so many games so many get ignored. To enrope them all together with such a subscription perhaps it would allow some overlooked games to make some money, and perhaps allow games to exist longer. What do you think?
I believe it's inevitable along with game streaming. As of now the only thing holding back a much more aggressive measure of going into these distribution areas is probably the average consumers internet speed. Although I could see mobile users adapting much easier than owners that exclusively use traditional consoles if such services were offered on Apple / Android platforms. On a side note: If I owned a Xbox One I would sign up for the service to try it out but many "real" gamers would throw a fit and proclaim another nail in the ownership coffin.
