Thank you for responding in the thread teamSkyfish. Do you have an expected release date? I would love to play this game, and would like to support you on Day 1. Cheers, Chronos77b
Hi Chronos77b, release date will be next wednesday. However, you can start playing now. I sent the promo code to your inbox. But please do give us a feed back when you can. thank you.
Wow! I've played a lot of gear based puzzle games since I started gaming way back in the 70s and this is easily in the top and among the very best of them. The controls are intuitive enough that instructions aren't needed, (or weren't for me anyway) but the levels get plenty complicated enough to actually challenge you and some are massive. The puzzles are well thought out and laid out and if you make a mistake, (barring one glitch I found) it's your fault not the games. The glitch is that some of the linear gears drift as they rest, and you sometimes will solve a puzzle only to have to wait for a few seconds for a gear to drift back into the path of the round gears teeth so it can be driven to open the last box or whatever else is needed to finish the level. Not a big deal once you know to expect it, but on a game with a timer it can screw up a fast run. Fix that problem and it's a solid 9 out of 10. Without that fix the game is still a 7.5-8 and a great puzzle game for those that like gears and mechanical puzzles.
copaeci, triperus, waiterik and speed4mee. We sent the promo codes to your inbox. please don't forget to give us your impressions and feedbacks when you can. thanks so much.
Thank you for your lovely feedback Gamer1st. The glitch where linear gears (gear racks) drifting should't be happening on its own. I would assume that this would only happen if we place a connected gear and removing it. If not then its definitely a glitch caused by physic engine. We will check with the team and see if we can find the issue. Do you remember which level you encountered with this issue? We don't actually have a timer playing a huge role in the scoring. We added to give a bit of variety to the scoring system and it can only add up to your score for a little amount. We thought that, if everyone finishes the level same way then all players will have the same score in score-board. Biggest score you can get in the game is when you clear a level without removing any parts while collecting all the 3 stars. With the timing factor, this can be increased by a little amount. With that said, do you think its best to leave the timer out?
For now we are done with all the promo codes. please don't forget to give your impressions and feedback about the game when you can. thanks so much.
The core of the problem can be seen easily on 4 but it looks like it happens on others as well. Just put the gears in place and wait till they stop moving. Not solving the puzzle correctly is the easiest way to spot it. You'll see the straight-line pieces drift back and forth even when the round gears aren't moving anymore. This is what leads to the problem in spots. As far as the timer goes I'd say leave it if the drifting is fixed. You'll need a way to read the top players.
OH man this is my kind of game! I'm interested definitely. Is there a sandbox mode also? Would love to get my hands on this and post my input on it.
I managed to replicate the glitch. I know exactly what you mean now Gamer1st. We will be working on a new update addressing the issue. I doubt it will be ready for a release date however it should definitely needs fixing as there is a slight chance it may become a nuisance. Thank you for taking the time out to help us. Much appreciated.
