      Just got an email from Popcap's The Fizz informing me that today (Oct. 10th) Popcap is celebrating 10 years of Bejeweled! And as a thank you for all of the support they're giving the game away for FREE!

      You sure about the account? I downloaded it a while ago without creating any account at all. All it asked for was the name and email id. Thats it. Havent used my code to upgrade it to full version though. So not sure if thats where it asks u to create an account.

      I had to go through the popcap store and used a promotion code. Then I downloaded it, confirmed, registered, and got my Reg. Code and was able to play the full version.

      The store is so busy I can't even download it.

      I didn't have to make an account, just enter my name/email/ZIP/country.

      thanks for the heads up. just got done playing a game such a great way to waste a half hour with out even thinking about it. heh.. my mame arcade will enjoy this :)
