The game is brand new today so apologies about the above details not appearing correctly^ There are a couple of minor cosmetic bugs in this version that have now been fixed, but are currently waiting for iOS update approval which can take >24hours to process: iOS - Ability menu isn't nice for reading, as the unlock message gets in the way iOS - Attribute descriptions not showing (unless you tap the + button apparently?) iOS - some tier 2 abilities show a weird tooltip. They should still be unlockable if you have the correct requirements Sorry about these, but they shouldn't affect the overall gameplay too much - the game was just extremely massive so some cosmetics slipped through the net. I really hope you enjoy this game - I will be listening and collecting bugs/suggestions but please bear with me as I handle only those with highest priority If the link in OP is problematic during launch please try this alternate one too: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1528353612 Makara Nou and ThirdMoon like this. mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #4 mgambino, Oct 6, 2020 Got it! I loved 9th Dawn 2. Quick question, when creating a character, is there a gender option, or is it a unisex sort of character that we build? I just recall 9th Dawn having the gender option. Valorware Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Mar 13, 2016 87 61 18 #5 Valorware, Oct 6, 2020 Hi! It's just appearance and voice (high/medium/low). Just so people can make whatever character they want really - but dont worry too much about appearance either, soon you will find some rare armour that will make you look AMAZING Jstorm Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2020 1,082 474 83 Male Employed Earth #6 Jstorm, Oct 6, 2020 Hi, Veloware. Thanks for the iOS release notice on Twitter. I only just started the snake pit, but I already got 2 requests. Is it possible to relocate the inventory icon? It overlaps with the joystick and I already accidently opened the inventory multiple times while trying to move upper left. Another request is about the health/mana UI. Is it possible to show the numerical values of health/mana? Also, what is the command menu? sharfaust Well-Known Member Jul 1, 2013 339 75 28 #7 sharfaust, Oct 6, 2020 Is there controller support? Valorware Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Mar 13, 2016 87 61 18 #8 Valorware, Oct 6, 2020 Already got these written down and hopefully will be updated real soon! Command menu is just so I can offer support to someone who may be stuck! Nothing special here Yes MFI controllers supported sharfaust and Jstorm like this. dukat111 Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2010 514 94 28 #9 dukat111, Oct 6, 2020 Anyone try this on both PC and iOS? The world map is huge, and you have a map now to guide your way in the dungeons. The card game is fun aswell. Can’t wait to have more time to sink in it later. I hope the game will get the attention it deserves and sells really well. Valorware Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Mar 13, 2016 87 61 18 #11 Valorware, Oct 6, 2020 I can't say from a player's perspective, but PC has local couch co-op. Game runs pretty smooth on either platform though! Hope you get more input from others on this No sorry but I will be looking into this soon Thanks so much for playing! I really appreciate it The game is focused on exploration and adventure! And collecting loots, treasures and cards Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #12 Asp, Oct 6, 2020 I turned traitor and got this for my ancient PC as the system requirements are so low. Runs very smoothly 60 fps and for a large RPG it has to be said that mouse and keyboard control is hard to beat; easy movement, combat, inventory management etc. Plus it’s on Steam discount this week. Jstorm Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2020 1,082 474 83 Male Employed Earth #13 Jstorm, Oct 6, 2020 But you cannot carry your PC in your pocket. Also the control is totally fine with both the touch and the controller, well, minus the inventory shortcut. I love these ‘Ultima’ style games as they’re non linear. I enjoyed the previous games but this one looks like it has way too hectic combat for me to enjoy. mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #16 mgambino, Oct 6, 2020 Ok, I’ve basically been playing this all day while “working.” Here is my first impression. Take 9th Dawn 2, ditch the jumping mechanic, and make every thing else about the game way better, and that’s 9th Dawn III. And there is a little more speed behind the action, but (at least so far) it’s only minor... this is still an RPG through and through. Valorware likes this. Valorware Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Mar 13, 2016 87 61 18 #17 Valorware, Oct 6, 2020 Hi! I think I remember your forum name from previous games I had a few comments like this, and I can see why. If you take a look at the previous games trailers, they are extremeeely slow and boring - as such, I didn't think the trailer captured the attention of the viewer, and a lot probably closed it within a few seconds. This time round I really wanted to make the trailer as action packed as possible to stimulate attention and hopeflly capture the audience, because its 2020 and noone has time for trailers :') So I put in quite a lot of the more "hectic" gameplay parts. Now, understanably, some people have had the same reaction as you and thought it is too hectic. I get it! However, please be assured that this is not constant bombardment of enemies, there are plenty of slower paced parts of the game and, many of the players stuck around the first village for hours just doing fun activities! I appreciate your concern, but please be assured I mostly just tried to follow some rules of "making a captivating tailer" - and that 9th Dawn III still offers that same experience where you can travel and explore at your own liesurely pace I hope this makes sense and you can overlook the hectic vibes of the trailer! Thank you! Glad to hear that the game is not as hectic as I thought it was. The only dilemma I have now is whether to get the iPad version or the Steam one. Which brings me to ask....I suppose that just like 9th Dawn II, there unfortunately will be no cross platform save file transferring? psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,965 718 113 England #20 psj3809, Oct 7, 2020 Great game so far. But a few interface issues. The notch on the left is covering some of the icons. Instead of clicking that icon to set attributes etc. How about clicking on the level number in the top left ? Keep pressing it expecting something to happen But can see the great potential of this game (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
