Sounds great,,, anyone out there with an iPad two who picks this game up today let me know how it runs,,, as for me I will pick it up tomorrow,,, thanks for eating back to me so very quick,,,, much appreciated and good news )
Got excited for a few seconds... Until I saw it's still iOS 8.1+... Anyway, I hope it performs fine on those of you with old devices and new iOS's.
Is there any particular reason you don't update? Sorry I don't use iOS devices so I'm not certain what's 'normal' at all. I thought a lot of apps needed you to be up to date? Not trying to make fun or anything I genuinely don't know much about iOS devices, thank you
I own a 4S with iOS 7.1.2, which is very stable and the phone performs faster with this iOS than with iOS8/9. I also own some old games which I still play that are broken on iOS8+ and the devs haven't updated (and I guess they won't update because they've been broken/buggy a lot of months already).
Sweet as! Thanks for the prompt reply! I am excited to buy this as soon as multiplayer update goes live! I'll be sure to tell my friends to pick this up too so we can have Ultima flavored multiplayer goodness!
It seems like the update hadn't propagated to my server, was still showing the old description. Now it says all devices are compatible and needs iOS 8.1.
Someone plz help, really wanted to play this game. Still unable to download after buying the game.......
The same here, unable to install, because my device is not compatible. I have a ipad 4. Weird because in the appstore, it is written that the game has been updated the 21 of may. Is anyone has been able to buy it with an older device?
Had the same issue, also with an iPad 4. It was trying to download the (incompatible) previous version. Got it working after a device restart and a couple of App Store restarts. Hope that works for you. If not, maybe download it on a computer and sync it to the iPad.
Thank you! It works! I don't know why, but after a few try on the appstore, it's downloading now. Thanks again!
So sorry to hear people are having issues, please try this. PLEASE IMMEDIATELY REQUEST A REFUND VIA APPLE/ITUNES if the game does not work, I am unable to personally process refunds myself as it seems to be all handled by Apple. I sincerely apologise, I have had nothing but trouble trying to develop for iOS and communicating with Apple, they have meant to have tested it runs on all supported devices but obviously that doesn't seem like the case. Probably the last game I develop for iOS unfortunately as it all seems very difficult/buggy despite my best efforts. If anyone has any further advice please feel free to post it as I am not an expert on iOS! Thank you for your patience and understanding
So far it seems like a simple issue of the update not having propagated fully through the servers. Thanks for taking the time and energy to support older devices and firmwares, it would have been completely understandable if you hadn't done so as the number of such customers is always growing smaller. It would be disappointing if you chose to not develop for iOS in the future but I hope you find even greater success with whichever platforms you pick for your next project
The bug does not seem to be your fault. As sapphire_neo said, it seems that the update is being slow to fully propagate through the app store. Chances are this wil sort out at Apple's end, or with any further minor patch you release. I've really enjoyed 9th Dawn and am enjoying starting anew with the sequel. Your games are a great fit to iOS, and I really hope you are not discouraged by your recent experiences!
I've finally bought it today, and since i can't stop playing! Please don't stop developping games like this one, it's such a pleasure to play it. It reminds me old ultima 7 when i was young, i can't beleive you've made all of this by yourself. Dialogs are great, the atmosphere too, it's an unbeleivable amount of work you deliver us, thanks for everything. I was so sad not to be able to play titan quest because of my "old" ipad 4, now i can play your game for hours! Greetings from belgium
If this is what you can produce when you're 'no expert' with iOS, I'd happily pay 3 times the price to see what you can produce when you put your mind to it! A good developer should be applauded and encouraged as they are a rare breed - please don't let Apple ruin it for the rest of us, keep developing for iOS! Would be a crying shame to see you drop the platform just because of their policies and lack of developer support.
