Nice to see this get a good review! So glad I picked it up. I don't know anything about the Ultima games, but this feels a lot like the classic Diablo. That's enough for me. Hoping to get through it soon.
You could probably find the camel again if you went to where you died. I will just delete that part of the world for you
Haha so it doesn't even do anything? What happens if you teleport? Can you take it to the other islands? Can you take it into dungeons? Can you walk it into lava?
Why in the world does 1/3 of the screen get covered in black pixels whenever you move? And I don't think it's fog of war, because the black spots shift completely randomly? It makes the game look unplayable.
Exactly. Also the current update has a setting where you can turn this feature off and just see the whole map.
Just began playing this. I can't see how much money I have. Where do I look? I looked in inventory and equipment I couldn't see any amount. Maybe its staring right at me?
Look in your inventory, should be a stack of silver coins, it'll say how many. But yeah, I wish the money was shown onscreen or something, its a pain to keep opening the inventory and checking the coin stack.
I found it thanks!! ALSO you can bind the coins to your hot bar and you just flick the bar open while travelling to see the amount. As you collect coins it updates on the hot bar!! No more need to access inventory!! We just both helped each other out!!!
Also near your coins is a book which is your quest log, useful to view that or to bind it As for coins this games very generous with money, no need for crazy IAP's or anything here, you'll pick up a fair few coins when you explore or sell items you've picked up
I bought the camel before the update and for some reason after I updated it was back with the dude that I bought it from. I was so happy. If that was a bug I really hope they don't fix it.
Gotta say, I'm totally loving the option of turning off line of sight. It's like playing a whole new game.
Am I the only one who's lost almost always? xDDD Plus, dont you feel bad when you get inside anyone's place and you steal everything from their chests? xDDDD
Ok, for anyone wondering what the game is about, go to ANY random page in this thread, and you are almost sure to find someone talking about the mass of loot to collect or the many hours they have played. I'm not asking you to read everything, but if you scan through the pages around 15 or 20 I think you should get an insight to the game. Many people have asked the exact same question, so the answers should be easy enough to find.
