Look for the Spoiler coloured keys . Just a general note to all those who beat the boss- talk to the Odd Merchant. I just talked to him randomly and got quite a surprise
Beat the main quest as a Mage. It was ridiculously easy. I think I killed the boss in about 5 hits. Was level 50+ at that point. I'm not complaining though. I enjoyed it very much and I'm encouraged to hear how much more difficult the expansion areas are as I love playing the Mage. Anybody else find Mage was really too easy to be challenged during the main quest? Now I'm leveling my staff skill so I can use Inifinitus!
I also wish 9th Dawn was more challenging. Hopefully the developers will take that feedback to heart with Black Dawn (spiritual sequel) and/or add a "Hard" mode to 9th Dawn. 9th Dawn is a lot of fun regardless.
Wasn't as easy with a lvl 50 archer. Anyone else notice the quests on the desert expansion island don't show up in the log book ? And I haven't found anything in any barrels, pots, coffins on the island, probably a bug.
Also is there any possibility of iCloud support? I hadn't seen that in this thread yet (I read most but not all of it).
In the expansion areas most chests and stuff are empty, but when they DO have stuff in em it is quality equipment. Note that I have on,y found items in the proper treasure chests. Quests for the expansion islands will be added in the next update which I believe has been sent for review by apple. For some reson the map shows land on the very south east of the bottom island, but you can't go much further past the heap of buildings there. Yes, many people have been discussing that the mage is OP.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but has anyone found this: Spoiler Up in Felryn, there's a room in Felryn Crypt with a Blightwalker, and a false wall that leads to a hallway and a stairs down to another level. I went down the stairs and was instantly killed (I'm a level 25 mage) by loads of Blightwalkers. Has anyone else been here yet? I guess I'll have to come back when I have better spell but I got totally rocked.
Anyone else noticing that the post-patch "use" action being too sensitive? I can now open chests through walls and if there are several chests near each other the "use" action has trouble figuring out which chest I'm trying to open.
Love the update, but the icon is pretty awful. Why do icons still release with the faux gloss effect? Looks terrible on every single icon, regardless (effectively washing out the cool dragon in this case). And that giant blue 'M' sticks out like a sore thumb. But wow, excellent update to the game. One of the best games I've played all year and firmly in my top 10 iOS games ever. Edit: I just noticed that the icon lacks the glossy effect when viewed in the TA app. The Baldur's Gate icon has the same problem.
Errr theres pages and pages ! Do a search for 9th Dawn review on google and its been getting high marks all over the place. Its an epic RPG, non-linear, lots of quests/monsters. If you know/like the old Ultima games this is the best homage to it i've seen. No decision here, buy buy buy Really ? Dont like the M in the corner at all, apart from that its alright
I've emailed the dev a few times (as i was stuck in one position and he told me how to reset it). Anyway said how great the game was, any chance of a sequel ? (As i was worried as i read on their forum that one of the main programmers had left) His reply... "There certainly will be and it will be MUCH better than 9th Dawn' So cant wait for this !!!
