Although the Mage might be a wee bit overpowered, the Archer is no slouch himself. Multi shot will cut down most foes with ease, combine it with Slow Eye for a deadly barrage. You can use Stealth to scout foes and then step back enough to snipe enemies without aggro'ing them.
I know some of y'all find this game easy but when the enemies are presented in a swarm of 10 or so of them... I find myself (as a Knight) retreating to a safe spot (usually by stairs/cave) to recover and then try again (unless they are easy enemies that don't drain my life to near nothing). I think the Knight is a pretty challenging character to use. I've died so many times it's not even funny. Maybe the number of deaths should be a stat as well as the time spent? I'd find it both funny and scary at how many times I died and how much time I've put into this game. Anyone got a tip that maybe I'm missing out on when it comes to surviving high level enemy swarms with a Knight?
Approach slowly and back away to try to take only a few on at a time. What attributes have you invested in?
Yeah, I've tried doing that and it does work, but I've walked into rooms a few steps and bam... 10, 15 or so enemies and they are all making a beeline for me. So typically in those situations I run and try to cut the numbers to 3 or 4. I'd like to play more aggressively though if possible. Points distributed: 175-Str; 15-Dex; 100-Con; 5-Int; 20-Wis I was going to throw some more into Dex, thinking maybe it would help me move around a little quicker, but I couldn't tell if I got faster or not. I don't know if it's just a waste of points and until the update is out that lets us experiment, I was just going to wing it focusing on strength and health. I also wonder about Stamina, is there any way to increase it or does it only come as a by product of Strength? It would be great to be able to use my magic a little more.
Holy crap, you guys get 1 million extra points for the Mushishi reference But, whoever designed that maze dungeon is a bad, bad person...
If you think those are some expensive shoes, try these! Also notice the HUGE difference in defense rating between the two. The Knight is meant to be an absolute tank that can take any punishment and still keep on ticking.
This isn't the loot you're looking for. You can go about your business. Move along.... Move along... After watching the video, I can't hold back. Do I have the money? Sadly no. Do I care? Sadly no.
To those people running out of arrows Spoiler do you know you can pick up arrows that land on the floor/get stuck in walls?
Alex at Drakynmaster Dyne's shrine. There are a few great little references in the game. This is my GOTW for sure. And just to mention it again (PSJ already did) leave a review in the AppStore. It's probably the best thing you can do if you want to support this great game.
I've finished the main quest and I'm exploring the new areas. My quest log doesn't record the new quests I've been finding. Is this a bug? Is everyone else experiencing this?
Really enjoyed the game and couldn't put it down. The developer really put allot of detail into the game and it shows. Is it only me or was it rather short with very limited quests? I explored more than half of the map, every nook and cranny, before getting to the final quest. I hope there are plans to add even more content.
There are at least seven dungeons on the mainland that are optional. The main quest to find and stop the source of the undead should take a handful of hours at least. After that you can go to the extra islands for hours more playtime. I'd say it has a lot of content.
Possible bug? Possible bug ? I've got Rena's key but she doesn't follow me to her house. She did at first but I exited the game then came back, now she doesn't follow me. Ive entered her house though. Want to make sure this isn't a game breaker as I'm only around Level 10.
The tea lady quests are optional. All you get is some Spoiler two types of tea that heal health and mana . Don't worry, it's not a game breaker. To start the REAL main quest go ever-so-slightly south-west of the blood spawn near Nevi (the fairy), go into this house, go into the room to the right, and talk to the dude there, called Renn.
I'm having a hard time getting used to the controls, and it seems to be on the slightly more difficult side. I'll give it another go tomorrow to see.
