Ok, newbies don't read the spoiler because it will just ruin the game for you. Spoiler i got to the castle, as I mentioned before, and need the hand. I'm fairly sure you get the hand from Vincert, but all he says is "we are trying to find a way in, check back later yards yada." The only missions I have are '7 treasures' and 'big John' (for some reason John wants me to repeat the mission, which I can't do because the mushrooms aren't there anymore). Europhos told me to go to Vincert, so I did, but he just said the whole "we are looking for the key, feel free to find it yourself blah blah". I ended up going in anyway and got to the castle. Which leads me to the current dilemma. PLEAS HELP!
Question: Spoiler near the beginning of the game there is an item called The Arbalest that is worth 120,000 or so, meaning it sells for 12k. I can return and pick up a new spawn of the item as often as I want, making money a joke. That said I haven't spent a cent yet because I don't see any need, getting everything I need and then some from drops. But still it feels like an exploit. Is this a bug? Also I'm starting to wish the game were a little more challenging. I'm just running around bashing my way through everything and I use maybe a piece of food every 2 or 3 levels. Perhaps the other classes (knight currently) will prove more interesting.
Don't try the Mage next. I almost never have to use heal or mana items. I only run into a challenge when I hit a mob and that's been for most of the game. I am enjoying the game for the exploration but I agree it could be more challenging.

Possible bug? I found this guy locked in a small room, I used a lever to open the door and when I talk to him, I only get 'no option found'? He's called Ellerin
You probably don't have the quest for that yet. But yeah seems like a bug. He should probably not be there until the quest is begun. I've seen that same issue before with other things, tombstones for instance.
I need help with this too. I think I've been everywhere I can go at the moment and I can't find any more quests. The guy just keeps saying the same thing.
For archers frustrated with lack of archer gear: Spoiler West from Agaria to the spawn point with the odd merchant, & due north from there, you'll find a place called Tindell's Lair. I found a full set of great armor + a few more valuable pieces spread throughout a very large dungeon. I recommend having sneak, at least, if not multishot. Now, for what it's worth, I'm not sure if the gear is completely random & I just lucked out, or it's actually an 'archer's dungeon'.
It's challenging with the archer, you have to run and gun and his attacks don't pack the punch of the Mage .

Yes, first good gameloft game this year, IMO. Still wont vote for it though. I'm might pick this one up to see what it's like.
I'm intrigued , I usually don't care for Gameloft stuff and Rio wasn't that good IMO. I kind of expected KRF to be the leader truth be told. I really like Scurvy, but this game is definitely my GOTW. Anyways sorry OT

any good videos of the game to sell me on it? the graphics look really bad so I want to see a video review or a video to sell me on the gameplay
Well it depends on what you mean by 'graphics'. Everything is made out of tiny little squares, but not like pixels, think like the pixels that make up a minecraft CUBE. Although the game uses these to make the game feel original and retro- like ultima, the detail in the graphics are actually quite good. It's just a bit hard to see because it's dark, but with the Gamma option on the way it will be better than ever.
Ok, for everyone stuck at the place where Vincert just says the same thing over and over, you need Europos' satchel, which you get after helping Europos, but you ALSO need a journal which you get by Spoiler going down the well in Agaria, getting the brass house key from the ghost, and opening a locked door in Agaria. Inside is a box that will have the journal in it. Hope this helped others who was stuck like me
