All of their games would clearly benefit from being played on a larger screen. Fimb Well-Known Member May 12, 2010 364 0 0 #5 Fimb, Jul 6, 2011 Btw, Vally, are you planning a guide for this as well? Enjoyed immensely the former ones. Drucifer Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2010 1,568 1 38 Canada #6 Drucifer, Jul 6, 2011 The guide is really in depth too. I've been playing it a bit on the 360 but I still need to take time to better understand the scoring. I've been waiting for this since it was announced so I'll be downloading as soon as it hits the App Store. I was a bit worried about how it will control but I think Cave will pull it off. seleneluna Active Member Aug 5, 2010 27 0 0 #7 seleneluna, Jul 6, 2011 As for iPad release and retina support, Cave told in their Ustream broadcasting a week ago that it's because of the small memory(RAM). Both iPad2 and iPhone4 have 512MB of RAM but still not enough. If rumoured iPhone5 has enough RAM for retina support, they will consider. No mention about iPad support or universal release. I must say it impressed me even more compared to Dodon and Espgal, especially the visual factor. The character equip customization also intrigued me, and that's one of the main strength I guess. For music, I think it's already suits the theme. They hinted that it might happen for iPhone 5 though. It wouldn't be difficult for them to make their games HD because the Xbox360 versions are already higher resolution. They just need more CPU and RAM. eev Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2009 1,958 0 0 Germany #18 eev, Jul 7, 2011 Last edited: Jul 7, 2011 hmm, desription in the german appstore is in japan, screenshots too. eev Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2009 1,958 0 0 Germany #19 eev, Jul 7, 2011 Last edited: Jul 7, 2011 yep, bought it too, there is english language in the game. the gameplay is very smooth, great controls. gunxsword Well-Known Member Dec 24, 2010 2,556 0 0 Sydney #20 gunxsword, Jul 7, 2011 Last edited: Jul 7, 2011 Game is in full English so don't worry This game is pretty much 'just another CAVE bullet hell'. In other words, BUY IT IF YOU LIKE BULLET HELL!!! I'll leave detailed gameplay reviews to others... since I'm a bit busy today with the new releases and Spoiler assignments... Here's my quick review (very quick...) Fast, fun, frantic (but still manageable). Controls are standard CAVE affair - very precise and smooth relative touch movement. Initially I thought the extra buttons esp 'switch direction' function would overwhelm the player, but it soon becomes a second nature to me (FPS influences?). A few negatives (warning, some crude statements): 1. NO FLIP SCREEN!?!?!? I can't find it in the settings. Flippin the phone doesn't do anything (no orientation lock). This should be classified as a crime against humanity 2. Deathsmiles feels a bit claustrophobic compared to other CAVE games (including Bug). The play area feels small and various environmental obstacles (doesn't damage player, blocks projectiles inc lasers) intensifies this fear. *3. Only novice mode? Do I unlock that somehow? I wanna play normal/hard straight off the bat... *Edit:lol stage A2 achievement: Buried Alive (reference to Avenged Sevenfold song? ) (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
