I'll probably be traveling around mid-December or Christmas time. Wait, it's only valid for a certain length of time? What happens then if the time is over? The app is not valid anymore and won't open?

No dude you're freakin out over nothing. The beta version will Be good for a fairly long time. And beta version won't be sent out every 2 days so if you're away from a computer for 2 weeks there is really no sweat just play that version
Betas are valid for as long as the MobileProvision file is able to be authenticated. This is one year from the date the dev signed up for an apple dev account or until they leave, whichever comes first. I recently had 10 mobileprovision files warn me that they are getting close to being expired.

I don't know if anyone has received an email yet (I know I haven't). But if you're not on the list then I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Yep. I really hope this 1.2 update comes out quickly, regardless if I get in; EVERY minigore fan should enjoy the fun and thrill of the insane mode .
Yeah I checked back on some of mine and its about a year. But I was also just trying to reassure him since he was asking about UDID changes and stuff. Pretty sure once those are submitted the slots are lost as Timo said as well so changing devices might not work. The thing about this is that the beta was for people that already owned the game so once the update comes out the beta version is pretty much a moot point - you can then go back and update the retail version to the newest release. That way you can get future updates as they become available. And finally it just becomes self explanatory as you get the files etc. Kind of a daunting thought right now for those doing it for the first time but rest assured its really not as complicated as your own brain can even imagine it to be!
48 hours is supposed to be the cutoff time, as in, if he hasn't emailed you within 48 hours you need to PM him to remind him. That doesn't mean he won't send any emails before 48 hours is up.

I think Timo's going to make a Minigore BETA testing group that we all join and can discuss about what's good/bad.
