#9 How the heck does my netbook boot so much faster than my way higher spec desktop. This one actually does confuse me it boots in about 20 seconds which is also faster than my Ipod.
I would guess it's because, as it's a netbook, you don't have tons of applications bogging down the boot process. Applications are what make things slower. Plus, I'm pretty sure Windows 7 is a little optimized for netbooks and their range of hardware in the version you have.
Could be the windows 7 thing my desktop is still on Vista, strange thing is I have all the same programs on both systems and the netbook seems to cope just as well with them the only thing it doesn't do as well is obviously games. My best bet is the hard drive in the netbook is just really fast being 250gb just and the fact I topped it's Ram up probably helps a little. Still kinda weird though.
