Holy crap, that game looks pretty sweet for only $1!

I think there is a game with like 200 games all put together (all web apps though, and most of the games suck.)

It was called gems or something?

    PuzzleManiak

PuzzleManiak have 20 types of puzzle games in one app. None are web based, all are native.

Of course lots of the solitaire apps offer many different types of solitaire games in the one app. I have one that offers 100 different types in the one app.

The guys who mkae these games, PDAmill, are a Pocket Pc/WM Smartphone development company that recently started porting their games to iphone. All their games are at pdamill.com , and should show up in a few days.

    Well there is Smiles: http://appshopper.com/games/smiles

But due to pricing/marketing/etc. the developer decided to spit the game up into the two main games.

I'm sure once things kick into high gear you'll see the Atari Classics, Namco Classics, Sega Classics, etc. etc.

Still though, Gamebox looks like a nice deal for .99!

I'm reminded of the oldskool pirate carts you could find at flea markets. 9999 games in one, where (if anything at all) a graphic was changed or glitched calling it a new game.

Of course (blatant plug) Smiles is a 2 in 1. Some people have been calling it a 3 in one (or more) as it does feature 14 game modes/difficulties (Avalanch being a notable extra mode itself). But to be fair, I've been sticking with 2 in 1. :)

I know, totally blatant, but 'cmon. I fit the profile. :D

Hmm... this package looks really interesting. How are the controls? From the screenshots it looks like Snake and the Tetris clone are button based, where Snake has to buttons on the bottom (no landscape mode), which feels very uncomftable and Tetris has the buttons on the right, which might work. How are the controls done in the other games, especially the Arkanoid clone?

  16. Big Bang Board games has like 8 games (chess, checkers, mancala, etc.) in one for a buck but I don't even think it's worth a buck and even if it was free I wouldn't recommend downloading it.

Bought it. Same game and arkanoid are fun. Snake is ok, minor control issues. The other games, especially the cannon thing, are unplayable with the chosen control scheme.
