$8.99 apps

    Why aren't there any $8.99 apps? Just curious though.:rolleyes:

    Ermmm... I actually don't know either. $8.99 is £5.00 right?

    I have actually thought of this before. It did baffle me but who knows. 8.99 seems to be in that purgatory zone of too much and too little I guess hahhaaha

    That is completely different. His question is actually viable.

    It seems like $9.99 is the premium price for apps (yeah, some cost more, but this seems to be the max for most things). Once you are anywhere over $4.99, it seems like you might as well just charge $9.99, because everyone thinks of it in that price range anyway. You aren't going to get any more or less from switching from $8.99 to $9.99.

    Mine is viable too.
    If their are $999.99 apps that I don't feel are worth THAT much...
    Why aren't their any in that price range?

    Ehhh.... that's not really the same. $8.99/£5.00 is a common price/value for smaller things.
