As far as I'm concerned, this is a big "F.U." to their fanbase who adapted early w/ the 1st version. There's really no other way to look at it. I say that anyone who bought the 1st game should revise their review to a one-star rating, and boycott Worms 2 until they make good on their promises. dominator246 Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2009 812 0 0 #10 dominator246, Oct 26, 2010 Team 17 is a joke....don't buy this. Not as much of a sequel, as penance. And no Game Center? Peculiar. EDIT: It is a damn shame Star Hogs never caught on. It did the multiplayer thing before even Worms 1, and did it very well. Plus upgradeable units (which added a persistent element to both offline and online play), novel and innovative game mechanics, and two long campaigns. It blows both Worms 1 and 2 out of the water. A retinagamecenterresurrection-update for Star Hogs would be far more exciting than Worms 2. icepulse Well-Known Member Aug 7, 2008 600 0 0 #13 icepulse, Oct 26, 2010 Sure. Reward them for lying to their customer base. It's apologists like you that make companies think it's OK to promise ANYTHING to get a sale. I've been clamoring for an update as well, but I just dunno if it'll actually happen.. Either way, I passed on Worms 1 when it came out, but will most likely grab Worms 2 when it hits the states. Pay for the game you're receiving, not the game you're promised. you paid for what you got. No one said they were required to have online in the first one. They didn't cheat you out of your money. You paid for something you received. I'm buying this because I like worms, and love worms online. Qordobo Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 1,609 0 0 #19 Qordobo, Oct 26, 2010 Worms is the second game I bought when I got an iPad and it's the worst game experience I got because I stop the game upset by the controls that perhaps I hadn't understood. Despite this and that Hedgewars has since fill the gap and is a hugely better experience and I don't need more similar game for now. Despite all of this there's an instant appeal when looking at the graphics of Worm 2. dominator246 Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2009 812 0 0 #20 dominator246, Oct 26, 2010 Win +1 If devs can't deliver their promises to their fans (in this case, multiplayer) then why support them?
