So if you're on the fence, go get it. It rocks the casbah.
    On sale for $0.99
    Not $2.99
Even more reason to get it. :)

If you can get 7 Cities for less than the regular price, then do it. One of the best TD games out there!

Wait, its actually on sale for $0.99

I made a mistake early this morning and put it at $2.99 instead of $0.99, and didn't realize that till after I came home from work. So please wait for iTunes to update to the new price if you are thinking of getting it.

An update to my friend's app iJiggles came out today and we have a featured ad in it, so that is why we put 7 Cities on sale.

We have been working on the update for 7 Cities. This update features a new mode which we hope will make you want to replay the game more. We hope to get this out sometime this month.

What!?! $.99 is an absolute steal. I thought $2.99 was a good deal, but this is insane. Buy it if you haven't yet.

hell, 4.99 was a good deal. A buck is like having him pay you to play it.

Wowzers, awesome sale. I'll change the title. :D
Apparently I can't change the title? It changed on the thread but not on the forum...

We honestly didn't make much at $3, or $2, even though were were in the top 100s, compared to when we were featured at $5. And when we put it back at $5, we dropped to the bottom of the barrel.

I think the App Store has changed a lot just in the last 2 months. There are some good quality games at such cheap prices that its hard to compete with a high price point.

Yea, being a dev, maybe you can answer my question more personally. Does the current standing of the app store effect your will to produce future games? Is it worth it to put so much effort into a game if you're practically forced to put it out at $0.99 to get noticed?

I think the store will continue to change, so any answer I give you now might be totally different if you were to ask me in another 2 months. I am still holding out hope that Apple revamps the store and allows high quality games to be placed better.

Yes it has affected us, but not in a bad way. We will strive to make games that we enjoy and have enough depth to keep us playing. You'll definitely see more games from us, and you can be assured they will be of quality better than 7 Cities.

Better quality than 7 Cities? That will be pretty tough. I look forward to your future games.

It worked quite well, and it wasn't even in the App, just on the description.

You know, I beta tested that app. Its pretty slick. :)

i have a question: if your game is not in the top100, is it just not selling that much or is it really not selling at all?

That is quite the bold statement, 7 Cities is a nicely polished TD game. It definitely stands out among the rest.

You have the proper determination for a developer imo :)

    LOL
I thought they were trying to get sales from you by listing your game in the description.

Here he was just being nice.

no he meant to put it in as a dollar, but he put 2.99. It should be a dollar soon.
