This has an easy pickup and play / retry feel too it. Could use some more levels for sure though. At work, will post review on store tonight. thanks! (back to playing =P) Rangerlump Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2010 482 23 18 #4 Rangerlump, Aug 24, 2010 Maybe I just like this genre, but I really like this game =). Im top 10 in most maps (I better screenshot it while it lasts haha). Even if I fail I dont get that burning frustrated feeling I tend to get in other games. To me its a great balance and quick to start a level over. I do need more maps though! I see acheivements for multiple flips like 720+ but havent really seen any spots where these are doable, does that mean more maps in the making? The controls and feel of the bike are great. The levels have some nice ways of beating them that take some trial and error, its not just a "hold the throttle down" game. Good job, if I could post a gameplay video I would, but I am at work. robertsze Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Oct 20, 2009 531 30 28 http://www.djinnworks.at #5 robertsze, Aug 24, 2010 Thanks Rangerlump, indeed we put a lot of energy in correctly balancing the gameplay and difficulty. It makes us happy seeing people actually noticing it Regarding the achievements, yes, new tracks are on the way, stay tuned CTI3 New Member Aug 24, 2010 2 0 0 #6 CTI3, Aug 24, 2010 Wow !!!! Hi Robert, i just registered in this forum because i must tell you one thing: This is really the greatest game I have every played on the iPhone!!! I've been playing Trials HD a lot and this game is same exciting. You really did a great job, thx! Indiania Well-Known Member Jul 1, 2009 876 0 0 #7 Indiania, Aug 25, 2010 Last edited: Aug 25, 2010 Game Impressions Thanks again for the promo code! I just got a chance to play through a few of the levels and I'm really having fun with this game! I like the replay that shows at the beginning of each level and your world ranking. The controls are very responsive and work very well. There is a restart button in the upper right hand corner, so you can easily restart a level if you are not happy with how your run is going or get stuck. The difficulty seems to ramp up nicely from level to level. I'm glad to see that more levels are going to be added in an update! The only thing I would really recommend, besides more levels, is adding a next level button instead of always having to go back to menu. Edit: I forgot to mention that you also race against the ghost of your last run on each level. I also wanted to say that although the goal of this game is to finish each level as fast as possible, you can not simply push down on the gas the whole time. There are many times in the the levels where you will have to know when to slow down or you will crash. I'm really enjoying this aspect of the game as it adds more fun and replay value to each of the levels as you try to shave more seconds off your previous times. CTI3 New Member Aug 24, 2010 2 0 0 #8 CTI3, Aug 25, 2010 New tracks ? HI guys, i have some question, will there be new tracks for Stick Stunt Biker ? I would have some ideas for track design and i would like to deliver those ideas to you if you want . I like this game more and more robertsze Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Oct 20, 2009 531 30 28 http://www.djinnworks.at #9 robertsze, Aug 25, 2010 Of course, we would love to hear your ideas, we are making new tracks at this very moment, new ideas would be very cool of course. Thanks! clzander Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2008 236 0 16 #10 clzander, Aug 25, 2010 If you're a huge fan of "moto" games and want some new tracks with doodle graphics, the game looks good and plays well enough to be worth $1. If you're trying to decide between this and other moto games, with only 10 levels here, I'm not sure Stick Stunt Biker has enough in it yet to be the better choice as it's not as long-lasting as say Unreal Trial. SSB has got some very nice touches, such as the near-instant reset when pushing the reset button, the ghost rider when retrying a track, and a small replay of your run in the background of the level select/results screen. There's leader boards, but those admittedly aren't a personal an interest for me, so maybe I'm unfairly not adding extra points for that. The tracks are a decent size, which is good, since you'll likely be playing some of the later levels over multiple times as some elements are hidden off-screen leaving you to crash into the unknown (say a jump to a hidden platform below), and requiring you to memorize the track layout. But, with only 10 tracks currently, it's possible to play through most of them fairly quickly if you're not aiming for the top of the leader boards. Some polishing and extra content would help. As noted by Indiana, the game would benefit from a "next level" button, or some similar function. Currently, after finishing a run, you can retry or return to the menu and start a "new game", at which point you can select a new track. I think a preview of the track, be it a live map (Unreal Trials) or a pre-run preview (Jet Car Stunts), would also help reduce frustration of hidden elements. There are some interesting elements introduced in later levels (jump inside a loop to get enough speed for the next jump), which show the potential of the game. If more levels are added, expanding on some of the tricks doodling (as opposed to real terrain) can allow, the game could be even better. robertsze Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Oct 20, 2009 531 30 28 http://www.djinnworks.at #11 robertsze, Aug 25, 2010 Thanks clzander, we will consider your points for the upcoming version with new tracks and way to directly jump to the next track. erwin1986 New Member Jul 19, 2010 3 0 0 #12 erwin1986, Aug 25, 2010 Last edited: Aug 25, 2010 Amazing couldn't gather a promo code before you offered the new ones, so i risked the 99 cent i have to say this game is amazing, it got me from the first moment when i played it. the gameplay is fantastic, full of action, the physics feel natural and fast. and its the perfect game for in-betweens. i read that you will bring a couple of new tracks, hope you don't let me wait too long however, the game deserves to be top 10 ! epiphone New Member Aug 25, 2010 1 0 0 #13 epiphone, Aug 25, 2010 Last edited: Aug 25, 2010 video it looks great but a video would really be cool for a buying decision archi_bro Member Aug 25, 2010 5 0 0 #14 archi_bro, Aug 25, 2010 Good one I have just bought Stick Stunt Biker and I have following question: Which physic engine do you use, or is it some custom engine ?
