I was already planning to buy this as soon as it came out... the first one was a neat little game, but these improvements should make it quite the hit. twentyone Well-Known Member Jul 5, 2009 305 0 0 OKC, Oklahoma #6 twentyone, Jul 26, 2010 SWEET!!! Or, in other words, if I didn't like the way flying the chopper in the first game felt, am I likely to feel the same way about this one? Howlingwolf Well-Known Member Feb 18, 2010 2,208 0 0 Uk #11 Howlingwolf, Jul 27, 2010 It's still not 100% perfect but it's not really meant to be but that said it is a big step up from the first one it does feel like the chopper has weight to it .The graphics are impressive too as is the sound . I would recommend this whole heartedly if you didn't like the first one though you may want to wait for a lite version but as I said it is whole lot better in everyway don_k Well-Known Member Oct 9, 2008 4,404 3 0 #12 don_k, Jul 27, 2010 Note: TV output is only supported from an iPad, and only when using the bluetooth remote control feature. I was so excited to show off that feature from my iPhone! Gabrien Well-Known Member Nov 24, 2009 5,148 0 36 #13 Gabrien, Jul 27, 2010 Well, the main problem I had with the first one was the lack of weight, so if that's better here that's already a plus. Can you still slam the chopper down from any old height to land safely, or has landing been made more realistic as well? If so, that would sell me. Thanks. Howlingwolf Well-Known Member Feb 18, 2010 2,208 0 0 Uk #14 Howlingwolf, Jul 27, 2010 No unfortunately that is still possible to do which is a bit of a shame as that was one thing in the first game that I hated runformoney1110 Well-Known Member May 6, 2010 2,691 0 0 Graphic designer In your closet #15 runformoney1110, Jul 27, 2010 i hope the landing's more realistic. Would add more challenge to the game. Though it would suck to rescue all the people, head back then explode when you land carelessly, accustomed to the old version's landing. Ok, thanks. I guess I'll just consider it some more then, maybe wait for a lite. But yes, a shame, game looks great otherwise. Just silly to make a chopper game where you don't feel like you're flying a chopper. majicDave Well-Known Member Patreon Indie Dec 4, 2008 87 0 0 Wellington, NZ http://majicjungle.com #20 majicDave, Jul 27, 2010 Hi there Early versions of Chopper 2 did make you suffer damage if you landed too hard, but it was actually pretty terrible. Often after taking out countless enemies you would die by simply landing on the helipad a little too rough. It can be hard enough to land without having that issue to deal with too. So it was a design decision, and one that I believe makes for a more enjoyable game. You will explode if your blade hits a tree, the terrain, or a building however.
