Did you try and force closing that app and reopening it?

 

Mines too.. It's a few different ones that pop out and they all just take me to the Verizon website

 

For those that got the $5 promo, do you have Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Limit Ad-Tracking set to Off?

 

I have it set to on.

 

Keep getting the "get connected" for the past several hours. Tried a bunch of apps with iAds.

 

I just turned it off

 

Still not working

 

Getting the iAds, getting the Verizon ads, but no $5 gift. I'm not JB, I have no ad block, and I'm a US Verizon customer. I tried both suggested apps as well as iTunes Radio. And..... nothing but regular Verizon ads. About to give up on this one. It's starting to remind me of waiting in a Verizon store for service.

I am not a Verizon customer and it still worked.

 

Same. I have clicked on at least 5 different Connection Day ads and all of them led me to just the regular Connection Day website. So frustrated...

 

How did you get it to work?

 

The easiest way to get the credit is to download Daddy Long Legs open the app and if it doesn't show up when the iAds show close the app and then open them again, after a few times it should pop up.

 

I've been doing that for the past half hour and no dice. What device did you use?

 

Yeah, I have been doing that repeatedly. I have clicked on at least 5 Connection Day ads, but none of them gave me any credit.

 

Tried that one too, just getting regular Verizon ads. Closed and opened the app about 20 times. Still nothing.

 

The one with the credit will look a little different, it will say redeem now on it I think.
