I remember when you could buy a ice lolly called a Sparkle for 10p, but that was in the mid 80's! Those sort of bargains are long gone, except perhaps the 100 yen shops in Japan...quality!
You know, I was gonna pass this post off as the insane rantings of a total lunatic, but... those question marks are just so damn convincing. I'm sold... to anything you have to say, ever.
Everyone complaining and not paying for the expensive games are going to be the downfall of the app store. If you won't pay for say, Real Racing for $10, they will try a sale and not get as much profit as hoped for. This will result developers making cheeper games.
...or the "We'll pay you 0.99 to download our game" option. Why should devs be content to simply "not make money".
You know what would be a good idea? Being paid for downloading some apps. Users will get money, that's a revolution. Please let me know what you think at [email protected]
i pay for premium apps occasionally, but it is inevitable i'll pay AU$12.99, and it will drop to AU$1.19 within a couple of months. i'm 27, and have been buying games my entire life. sega master system titles used to cost me an average AU$35, and you better believe i milked all the gameplay as possible out of them. still own and play my old sega. seems these days people just want more for less. we have it sooo much cheaper now than we did a generation ago. i was a proud atari lynx owner. the damn thing used to run off 6AA batteries, which would only last for an hour if i used premium batteries. but i only had like $2 a week pocket money, so i'd go to the dollar store, buy a big pack of like 64 batteries which would give me a solid 2,3 minutes of gameplay before i'd have to max out the brightness and then swap for another 6 rozzie

Cheap turd for asking for cheaper games.. 99 cent's is nothing, Mcdonald's costs more for something and it's gone in two seconds. Quit being greedy everyone.
Right but think of how long you can savor a McChicken. How many apps have you bought for a dollar recently that you would describe as savory?
Many. Wolfenstein RPG, although it's $2.99 (still cheaper then McDonalds). And let's see... Dungeon Scroll, haven't bought a lot of .99 cent apps lately.
