    Hey everyone!

I'm thrilled to share a project we've been working on: The Green Book!

The Green Book is a cozy and enchanting game where players nurture magical plants and manage a whimsical garden shop inside a giant oak tree. With a focus on relaxation and mental well-being, the game offers unique plant behaviors, customizable environments, and delightful mini-games.

We've released a demo for PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS. In the demo, you can try the basic mechanics of growing plants and feel like a real gardener! Grow 10 unusual plants and develop your own shop from scratch. It's just a taste of the greater world and story that we want to create in the full game!

Also The Green Book is now live on Kickstarter.

If you'd like to help us get over the line or try the Green Book demo, you can check out the campaign here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theeugene/the-green-book-0

You can install the demo on your device through TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/A9RpdbrC

Looks interesting, makes me think of strange horticulture right away. But looks much more vibrant.

I do like a game where you can build up a shop. Is it a kind of tycoon simulation game? Or well what you want it to become?

Downloading the demo right now [↓].

    Edit:

    Gameplay loop:

Buy plant(s) and water them to keep them at a good level as it drops throughout the day (a day starts at 8:00 a. m. and ends at 9:00 p. m.). Watering is performed by holding the water drop icon.

During the night plants continue to grow and consume water, so it's important keeping a good level so that they survive until the next day. You may speed up the passage of time during the day, so that you don't have to wait for too long until plants grow.

When plants reach their maturity (100% growth) you can prune them via a precision mini-game, gather seeds and sell them. You eventually collect enough coins to buy several plants at once, so you can get more resources (coins and seeds) the more you play.

You can spend coins to upgrade your shop with more shelves to place plants on, more pot shapes/colors to put your plants in, as well as some customization items such as hats and glasses, especially designed for bears, and a tips jar.

Seeds and money can be spent on the green book to unlock more plants which yield a different amount of seeds and sell at different prices.

The game starts slow, but the moment your store is full of plants it'll become a lot more active, demanding more attention to water levels. If plants run out of water, they'll wither away and you'll have to dispose of them.

Cute game so far. Two more rooms are under construction, so looking forward to whatever's gonna be added to the mix.

No, it's more of a plant growing simulator. There will be no auto-clicker and no big money numbers in the game. This is more of a relaxing game where you have to take care of the plants yourself.
