The rules are simple. It's a game where you combine two small fruits to make a bigger one and work towards making a watermelon. You must be careful that the fruits do not overflow from the box as you keep scoring points and aim to get a high score. When two fruits of the same type hit each other, the fruit type “evolves.” Then, when you hit two watermelons against each other...!? The ranking is updated every day! Have fun aiming for the top ranking! ● How to play the game 1. When fruits of the same type hit each other, they “evolve” into the next size of fruit and the score increases. 2. Use your finger to move Poppy to the left and right and then take your finger off the screen to drop the fruit. You can also tap anywhere in the box to drop the fruit to that specific location. 3. The game ends if the fruit overflows from the box. ● Notice Official information on the Suika Game is available here. Somewhere in a town amidst the Amazon jungle. http://www.google.com #8 sebgo, Mar 27, 2024 Apparently, Galaxy Mix is based on Suika Game. They did a good job and, apparently, got a more appealing result (at least for me) than OG. I don't have either of them, but I find GM "better" from what I've seen on YouTube. I played an ad based browser version of Suika and didn't get hooked; I don't know how much it differs from the mobile release, though, and with Galaxy Mix being cheaper, I don't see any reason to purchase OG except for supporting the original creator (I'm assuming Suika's the "original" game). "Metroidvania" games are called that for a reason, though. There's probably a wave of incoming Suikalike games, pretty much like the bunch of Vampire Survivors clones we can find nowadays on any platform. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #9 elcrazy, Mar 27, 2024 Ya I have played Suika web version. It didn’t hook me like Galaxy Mix, but it was a web version so….. I don’t think it will be better than Galaxy. That game took Suika and added some good stuff like combos. I am considering it as I want to support the original creators of this game. Too bad they weren’t first to market. But with iOS the original usually comes late, all the clones attack early lol. For now, I will wait. I love Galaxy Mix but don’t play it that much anymore. I think I will support at some point. Maybe next time I get the itch to play I’ll download tbis instead of firing up galaxy. Currently I am Very addicted to a certain dice game lol….. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 836 399 63 Male 95% leisure. Unless it's already available under its chinese or "Synthetic Watermelon" name. Ghostdog1 Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2015 319 125 43 #11 Ghostdog1, Mar 27, 2024 The original nintendo version of suika game is one of the most addicting games I have ever played. The physics are much more refined and the look is just gorgeous. Although the gameplay is the same I would never use the browser version because it really looks and feels so bland. Since it’s nintendo release in 2021 I was wondering why they never tried to port it to other platforms. It would be a perfect fit for mobile phones or tablets and create great success. Thanks for pointing out that this is also just a copycat of the original. So I keep waiting. Maybe one day nintendo will cross it out from its exclusive list. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #12 elcrazy, Mar 27, 2024 This is the real one. Published by Aladdin X. Same publisher as Switch version. It is same one from the switch. This is not a copycat. This is the original Suika game. The OG! I am sure it plays better than all the clones I tried. I tried a browser version and yes it was terrible. But I expected that. It was the first time trying any of these games. Then I downloaded a few of the clones and they were all pretty much terrible. Then Galaxy Mix came out and they say they are inspired and a copy of Suika. That game is pretty awesome. But I will be downloading this as well. Probably later tonight. I want the original on my phone. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #13 elcrazy, Mar 27, 2024 Downloaded to support developer, and give the original a good go. I have switch but never wanted it there. I will try to give it a good go this evening and leave impressions on this vs Galaxy mix. I am sure we know it’s a good game and everything. So I will focus on this vs Galaxy and if room for both on a device. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #14 anthony78, Mar 27, 2024 Yeah, not sure where you got the idea that this is a copycat. Definitely the same exact game and dev as the Switch version. I have it on Switch but, like others, I really feel Galaxy Mix is far superior so won’t double dip on this to have it on mobile. elcrazy likes this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 836 399 63 Male 95% leisure. Galaxy Mix additional mechanics (combos, bombs and shuffling) take it a bit further for [lucky players or] people who want to strategize and chase a higher score in fewer moves, and also has Watch support.
