I’m wondering if any of you can recommend any that are the best recently? Although I’m thinking it’s always the same formula so probably just depends on what theme suits you best? I’ve gone ahead and got Dungeon Village 2 since I enjoyed the first but wondering what else to get. Cavern Adventure is different in most ways than the others, I guess. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #4 ste86uk, Feb 10, 2024 @Brightsiderus I did look at that one and was very tempted, but everyone here seemed to be confused by it and what was going on so it put me off. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #5 Stronsay, Feb 11, 2024 Would sure like to try High Sea Saga DX at some point, though still in the midst of Cavern Adventures which is a huge game with steep learning curve and tons of micro-management. Great though once familiar with its system, which, yes, differs from others. Dream Town Island is maybe their best at the moment, also a huge game, or Mega Mall Stories 1 & 2 if preferring 2D. ste86uk likes this. Rosso Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2010 236 12 18 #6 Rosso, Feb 12, 2024 Agreed a 100% mate. Dream Town Island was their best in 2023, I'd say. ...Cavern Adventurers is an odd one. It's all over the place. Dozens of features and mechanics stuffed in, but you can ignore like half of them. I am playing it like a maniac, as almost every KS game, but objectively seen I can not recommend it. I agree with Mega Mall recommendations when it comes to 2D/side-view. And even the 1000 year old "Pyraplex" holds up! Stronsay likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
