Hopefully an app store glitch that will be resolved once the game launches. *fingers crossed* squarezero likes this. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #12 squarezero, Jan 10, 2024 Unsurprisingly (but still disappointing) they were having serious server issues right at launch time. They’ve brought back the official launch screen and added an hour+ to the timeline. Hope that’s enough time to get things sorted out. At tip for developers: when you are working with popular franchises, take your server load estimates and double them — if not triple them. Touch controls work well, and it runs silky smooth on an iPhone 15 Pro. The game looks good, but we’re not talking Resident Evil 4 level graphics. And I’m good with that. It comes down to server loads, staff capacity, budgets etc. But why does every game have to be online-only? It’s not an MMORPG. Even if it needs to have pvp and co-op features, it can always have lesser, more manageable servers. Who knows. By the time this actually releases in my region, it might already be a dead game. I played with the backbone controller and adjusted the FPS and the graphics to my liking. Combat system is decent. A little bit desapointed with the Voice Acting and the bad lipsinc in some of the cutscenes. But overall, there was some legit dev efforts for the game. I haven’t progressed far enough to know if the experience is ruined by IAPs yet. I’ll circle back in a couple of days! Gameplay is bland, cutscenes are straight up bad, graphics are poor, literally no redeeming qualities. What a waste of a good IP. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
