Story is interesting. Writing is great. (Does not bore you with endless unnecessary exposition) And overall just a great mobile game. The only people who might be put off by this are the ones who are not into pixel art and graphics. But apart from that, this is worth giving a go. It’s free to try and then with the option to buy. But the best part, it’s not at all overwhelming with items, currencies and mechanics, like most games of this genre generally are. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #5 ste86uk, Nov 27, 2023 @Rocksaint I downloaded it but haven’t tried it yet, I loved Pokemon as a kid but don’t really get joy from it anymore. I played Scarlet but didn’t really care for it. One thing I did wonder that I hate about Pokemon, are all the Pokemon of the same type the same? For eg if you caught a charmander it’s as powerful as any other charmander in the game. Not one has great IV’s one very poor but we’ll keep it a secret until later on. I prefer it when a monster is a monster and just as strong as any other monster of that type but level and skill choice makes a difference rather than hidden stats. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #6 Rocksaint, Nov 27, 2023 I am not that familiar with Pokemon or any monster-collecting games for that matter. Mostly avoided them due to their complexity. So I don’t think I can answer that. I am still early into the game. But it seems quite interesting and is not that hard on newcomers like me. ste86uk likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
