You basically draft citizens and each round, just like LBAL, a random pick of them shows up and you get coins and any effects they have take place to pay tax every season. I wish it was portrait, the texts were a bit bigger, animations at 200% speed are still not fast enough, and it’s a bit too easy, but otherwise a decent “one of those games”. nickhoola likes this. As opposed to focusing much on positional stuff, the main way you make money in this game is by having the inhabitants make and buy goods. Almost every individual (I'd say person, but there are many animals and abstract characters) desires certain products (as listed on their character card) and many of them also make items. So your ideal hope is to bring together a nice balance of individuals making products the other people in the town (I think up to 20 individuals are drawn each turn). While not 100% certain, I think in a given turn everybody summoned has a chance to buy existing goods (made the previous turn). Next those that produce stuff make their wares. Finally, everybody summoned has a chance to buy any of these newly made items. Besides this buying and selling, some individuals also, much like in LBAL, might have abilities that just earn them money based on the appearance of other individuals that round or, say in the case of a police man, will automatically eliminate 1 criminal from the summoned individuals for some extra reward. Is it good?!? vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #11 vectorarchitekt, Oct 25, 2023 Nothing will ever touch LBAL, but if you’re essentially done with it, I’d say it’s worth $4 as another twist on it. It does have a twist, as mentioned above, because you only choose citizen and they produce and consume stuff. Also, I found their discord server. https://discord.gg/SCPRQqSy Ijipop Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2012 557 268 63 #13 Ijipop, Oct 28, 2023 Thanks to both of you, I’ll take the plunge then!
