It’s out on Switch and Steam as well, but I’d argue that mobile is the platform of choice here. The art style in the game and menus is so tasty. It can be played in portrait or landscape as well. One change I wouldn’t mind is a control option to pull behind the ball to aim (like a slingshot). Been done in other games and think it would work well here. Actually kept trying to do that early on before I learned the controls, lol. gaberaph, Chq and squarezero like this. I seem to always block the pocket I'm aiming for by having the aim system be out front, but it seems like once you get the aiming line engaged you can then touch anywhere else to adjust it to prevent your hand from being in the way? But still it feels a little clunkier than I'd like. Also I'm wondering if there's a way to put english on the ball? It seems like sometimes it happens, the cue ball will draw backwards or move forwards after striking another ball, but I'm not sure why it happens. Same question with shot power. Is there a way to adjust that or is it the same for every shot? Seems like the curved red line might be for that but I can't quite tell. I fully admit I could have missed any of this info in a tutorial somewhere, my kids were watching me play and were very distracting lol. gaberaph, Chq, ShinHadoukin and 3 others like this. Frankly, the current controls are a lot easier when you realize that you can drag anywhere on the screen. Yes, the way you did aiming I think was the right call and I'm more or less use to it now. Regarding english and power I'm happy that those aren't things you can adjust, it keeps things simple which I think is good. I like just lining up a shot and shooting and not mucking around with other stuff. I was just worried I might have been missing something. One thing I don't totally understand is if you hold your finger down on the ball and a big circle of arrows appears, what is that? I found it by accident and it changes the game massively once you realise you can do that orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #17 orangecan, Oct 14, 2023 Same question from me. I can’t work out what qualifies and what doesn’t, I’d swear at least one of mine that popped up wasn’t remotely long. radge Member Nov 5, 2008 19 0 1 #18 radge, Oct 14, 2023 Long shot is where the ball being potted travels a long way as opposed to the cue ball. I’m stuck on a challenge to pass through a gateway 16 times in a single shot though. No idea how that can be possible orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #19 orangecan, Oct 14, 2023 ah nice one that makes sense, I just automatically jumped to the assumption that it was the cue ball.
