It’s a lot of fun. The way you equip relics is very interesting. Same setup as games mentioned. Fight die repeat. Lots of upgrades. This is a true roguelike. Each level you fight a small area with a. Reward at the end. Then you have two paths to choose from. After four our five rooms you get a boss. I haven’t beaten the second boss yet but can now consistently destroy first boss. I do wish the sword play would change up a bit with a new weapon. Maybe different melee weapons would have been nice. Sword throwing and sheathing them is a blast though. It has inspiration from Hades and I can see how people say it’s like it. But that being said it’s nowhere near as good. That upgrade system and game play is just way above. Everything you do changes your attack. This has that as well but not to the same extreme. The online requirement is rough on this one. Seems like it need a strong connection. There are places in my house it won’t open as I guess Wi-Fi isn’t strong enough. I do hate that. Not being able to play or game glitching because no internet is awful. Had a few epic runs with insane setups. There is so much to see and so many ways to set up your character. I am sure I have so much more to see as I just unlocked my second statue and it changes the gameplay immensely. If you like games like Hades you will love this on your phone. Update.. Have three statues now. Came so close to beating the second Large boss twice in a row. Maybe one hit (eye) left… Ahhh Very powerful now. Can walk through the first boss and mini bosses with ease. This is what I love about a true roguelike. You feel so much stronger after a while. I had a run where I took out the first real boss in secs. Honestly I can’t say enough good stuff about this game now. It is quickly becoming one of, if not, my favorite iOS game of all time. This game is more akin to hades than I originally thought. Hades still superior sure but this is pretty close. The game is really based around your Sheath and sword throwing, not your melee weapon. The new statutes change the game inmmensly. I unlocked a third one last night and figured I just wanted to see what it did. I didn’t love the description so wasn’t sure I would play it. Well I played till I passed out. I continued this morning. Just beat the second real boss with EASE. Like too easy lol. But I am a tank right now. Everything I have is complimenting my new statue strategy. The game is sooo satisfying. Changing around your relics is a lot of fun. Finding that perfect combination. Really having an absolute blast. I am now worried this next chapter is the last and I’m not ready to bear it yet lol. But even if it is there is tons of reasons to come back and keep beating it, just like hades. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS ONE. Second best roguelike I have ever played. Possibly best mobile experience of all time. Loving this game. If you wanted Hades on your phone.
