I was about to pick it up when I saw a one star review (the only review) that mentioned the game was crashing on startup. Just wondering if it’s working well for you… Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,234 540 113 #3 Brightsiderus, Sep 27, 2023 Its great. Developer mentioned crashes, and he fixed that. It’s somewhat short, but the repeatability is pretty solid. Anotherkellydown likes this. Thanks a lot man! elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #5 elcrazy, Sep 28, 2023 I see it’s only 5 levels and @Brightsiderus mentions it’s short. How short are we talking here? Do you want to come back once beating it? Lots to unlock? I LOVE a good rougelite where you get stronger between rounds which this mentions. Plus the unlockable characters. sounds like fun. Lots of games at the moment. This looks promising. Picked up Elderand yesterday and that Necro-smith looks interesting as well. Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,234 540 113 #6 Brightsiderus, Sep 28, 2023 Five floors, 10 rooms each level, half an hour maximum for a run, to complete the game and see all “story”, you need to beat the game at least 4 times. There are locked things which can be unlocked by beating the game with certain characters and etc. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #7 elcrazy, Sep 30, 2023 So I picked it up and it’s really fun. I like the progression style and the gameplay is lots of fun. My biggest wish is that it was a dual shooter. I like being in control of my bullets. Would love a second control option with either dual stick or button for shooting instead of always on auto fire. The next thing would be to be able to see what your character has during a run. There is no way to click your character and see what is activated. That actually really should be added. Would be so much better if you knew what your character had on as you were playing. Would also be nice to have a glossary of items you have found. But that’s not really a big deal. Just nice to have those. Regardless game is a lot of fun. Unlocks and upgrades are very well done. I lol forward to playing more. Good luck with your release. Lull4by likes this. Regarding the dual stick shooter part of your post, when you connect a controller it automatically turns into a dual stick shooter, where you aim/shoot with the right stick Lull4by Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 767 313 63 #9 Lull4by, Sep 30, 2023 I purchased the game when it just showed up, it is sad because of crushing consistency, the developer replied my report quickly, it is good to see the game is stable now. thumbs07 Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2010 916 0 16 UK #10 thumbs07, Sep 30, 2023 don't suppose a video of this somewhere? So many cool items. Great set ups for weapons. Buuuut, the more I play, the more it’s missing characters current stats. It really needs an option to see what you have active on your character. Very surprised this isn’t something that was implemented from the start. Game is a lot of fun. Nice difficulty curve. You feel your upgrades. You get enough resources each run to upgrade between rounds. Lots to see it seems. This one really should be tried by all who like a nice little roguelike. ste86uk likes this.
