SCREENSHOTS ABOUT USWe are AppSir Games, driven by a love for crafting engaging and memorable games. Aside from mobile games, we've ventured into creating games for old-school platforms like the NES, ZX Spectrum, and we've even had success with a physical release for the Game Boy. All of our games, including the mobile games and the retro releases, take place in one interconnected universe. We have been inspired by the approach of franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with an extra focus on quality for each of our games, and we’ve never had a release with a rating lower than 4.5 stars on the App Store. Our biggest game to date is DERE Vengeance, an epic story that was announced as far back as 2018 (announcement video). For over five years, we've been steadily building up more anticipation for it, using storyline teases in our other games and post-credit announcements that herald the arrival of 'DERE Vengeance'. It’s as good as other Appsir games. Though I died less, maybe because I’m a pro now. It’s challenging, but captivating, with fun comments from AIDE. I completed the game in two or three hours and enjoyed it. So glad you enjoyed it! @ste86uk , brightsiderus is right that our standalone games have an overarching narrative that connects to each other. They are kind of like the Marvel Cinematic Universe because each game's storyline interconnects in a web-like way. It would be best to check out at least DERE EXE: Rebirth of Horror and DERE EVIL EXE first for context on the story (and because those games are awesome as well!), but just playing this one would be fine too! EDIT: ste86uk, your username was very familiar and I realized you played Puzzling Peaks EXE! That game's plot connects to this game as well Some game journos are writing good reviews about this game despite just playing only this one, so it's an experience that can be enjoyed on its own, too. Rocco SE Well-Known Member Jun 16, 2020 267 258 63 Male Modern Mime Artist Austria https://silentrocco.net #9 Rocco SE, Sep 19, 2023 I‘m a huge fan of the first Dare games. This one starts out pretty much exactly like Dare Evil Exe. So, I hope it will get different soonish. What I absolutely cannot understand is that there is no option to adjust movement and jump buttons. Their corner positioning is absolutly ridiculous, and will frustrate many players. Please either position them more like similar games do, or give us the option to adjust them at will. Cheers. I apologize for taking too long to release a new one. I know it's been years! Don't worry, I will be making more games and much sooner! My number one focus is game dev right now Blame those pesky entities haunting my games! Actually, no. It was me being misinformed probably. The engine I used didn't allow for custom button positioning, so I had to figure out how to position it that best fits most players. I got some feedback from the same testers that tested DERE EVIL EXE about the new placement of the buttons. Also, the collision box of the buttons are bigger than the buttons themselves. You can press them even way outside the buttons. But we'll test some other placements next time. Thank you for being a fan of the games! I appreciate it @Rocco SE ! Noted @psj3809 . The framework of the game is too dependent on having a game over screen right now and players tap to continue, but in future paid games we'll remove the game over screen entirely and just have instantaneous restart Thanks for playing DERE Vengeance! I'm glad you enjoyed DERE Vengeance! The series lives on! But I must admit, I got pretty burnt out because of the size of this project (I even lost months of work due to a corrupted hard drive). I hope you don't mind if I release a much simpler game next time. DERE games and its equivalents (HopBound, Puzzling Peaks EXE) always take a lot out of me, so I might be making a more arcade-like in-universe game for the next release as a break from games with huge stories, but of course, I will get back at it with the DERE saga after.
