Early impressions but seems to be one of the best narrative-driven games I’ve played on mobile since… Gris. The creativity, the writing, the voice-acting and the music. Absolutely top-notch. Also has some decent graphics options to look and run even better on high-end devices. Haven’t purchased the full game yet but after completing the 1st chapter, this seems to be a gem of a game. My only complaint is that the free portion is way too generous! Then again, it does end at a very “Alright, already hooked and can’t wait to see what’s next”-bit. Rocksaint likes this. I was so prepared to finish the trial in one playthrough. But was surprised to see when chapter 2 started. That’s when I realised that okay, the purchase has to wait a bit longer I guess. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #5 Rocksaint, May 9, 2023 Bought it. Almost instantly after completing chapter 2. It was a no brainer. Even the purchase flow is so creative. One minor bug though, buttons lose their text labels after quitting the game. Happens after completing the purchase as well. They are functional though. Apart from that, flawless game. A must-play for anyone who loves this genre. Ghostdog1 Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2015 319 125 43 #6 Ghostdog1, May 9, 2023 Like member ‚Rocksaints’ said the game is a true gem. The game looks simple - a jump and run mixed with point & click elements. But the story about loss, grief, and self-discovery is the real star of it all. It made me cry a lot and brought back my repressed feelings of missing my grandma. The devs of this game have a remarkably sharp eye for emotional details and the right wording. And they top it off with great voice acting. Beautiful game. squarezero and Rocksaint like this. And there’s no way to restore purchases. So seems like I lost progression and the save file is back to end of chapter 2. Where it’s asking to purchase the game everytime I access my save file. What a bummer. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,702 222 63 #11 agreen437, May 13, 2023 Did you purchase the full game or did this happen while you were trying to purchase? After completing chapter 2. After the purchase I had completed two more chapters. When I launched the game to continue playing today, my save file says chapter 0 and when I access it, the game is saying I’ve finished the demo and should purchase the game to continue. All in all, beautifully done and deeply moving. It also has a “playable” end credits roll, which strikes me as wonderful. Highly recommended for those who like narrative games.
