You get the same game, and you can even play with a controller if you want to. This is why developers don’t bother with iOS anymore unless it’s some f2p BS with micro transactions and paywalls. people will spend $7-$30 on steam or switch but not on here, no way jkluk23 likes this. It’s common knowledge that games are priced lower on mobile, it’s not whether I like it that way or not, it’s just common knowledge. My comment wasn’t really even to do with it being on mobile necessarily. Mobile is my main gaming platform and I will pay whatever prices. Heck I pay for a dev certificate, $100 annually just to sideload just a couple of apps. FTL sideloaded to my iPhone anyone? Yep I pay $100 annually just to have that. (And have bought the game for iPad anyway of course). But I mean, look at those graphics for starters. I know that’s not something to go solely by, but at this price, and as is what I said, I think this requires some fair amount of research in order to take the dive. I think at this price, it’s fair game to make a comment about the price and to also make conversation that I’ll be doing my research before diving in. It's not as prevalent today as it was back in the day, but you're taking a gamble each time you buy something. Developers themselves aren't all angels too. Square Enix charge PREMIUM premium on iOS, but how many of their games are DOA? Is The Last Revenant even on sale anymore? (legit question) Didn't it just come out like last year and was immediately broken? Remember when I paid something like $80 for Guitar Hero Live and it was discounted heavily within weeks? Yeah, where is the game now anyways? I love iOS as a platform, but it's a shitshow. While I wouldn't fully recommend avoiding the platform, I do recommend people entertain their gaming hobbies on iOS while buying games they truly love on other platforms. adin, Alex DeLargest, Ijipop and 1 other person like this. And I can only add to his points that there is one more reason to make mobile games cheaper, because the main audience are kids that don‘t have much money. The older you grow the bigger setups you will mostly use for gaming. But as a kid you will have in most cases just a phone. But i also understand the position to give devs more money so we get better games on ios. I for my part love ios gaming because i travel a lot. Also i only play on ipads and use them in most cases as a monitor combined with an xbox controller. I never play on iphones. It looks like a simple card game but it‘s so much more. I didn’t expect it to be so realistic. Don‘t assume to survive for a long time in your first games, because the learning curve is based on failing so you know what to do better in your next try. Even though it‘s a card game, it is more survival than 99% of survival games on the app store.
