It’s a decent approximation of a Cave classic, but level-based and with some RPG-style progression. Not bad at all. Bit confusing. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 833 398 63 Male 95% leisure. It's now free, maybe for a limited time, and it's not a bullet hell game (DORAGON or CAVE Co. games). It's more like a traditional shoot-em-up with a few more bullets than usual. Bullet hell games usually have at least a stage scoring system based on hit-count combos, which this game does not have. I only see a "score" value in the ship selection screen that grows bigger as more stages are cleared, but I haven't paid attention to how it's measured. I just gave it a go. Cleared the first three missions with all stars (played each mission twice, in order to level up my weapon of choice). It's pretty decent, although I'd like to have access to control sensibility settings. I fear it might become a bit grindy after a bit to gather enough upgrade crystals. Initial HP value is like 108; upgrading your ship [main shot] to Lv.2 requires 229 crystals (you get about ~150 per stage cleared) and increases HP by like ~<10%; so, if getting over 5000 HP, like in screenshots, is part of the game progress, it's gonna need a lot of crystals. Reminds me of Phoenix games. VirtualBoyFreak Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 26, 2011 4,801 85 48 Spain #12 VirtualBoyFreak, Jan 16, 2023 I’m hooked to this one. Glad you noticed all the hard work I’ve been putting in and happy to have you in the competition, @VirtualBoyFreak I paid a dollar for it so I expected the typical 7 or so levels. I’m in the 40’s of levels now. There are all sorts of varied mission types too, with one even throwing in asteroid fields to navigate, and several others like escort missions, etc. Super glad people are starting to notice the game now.
