Love the art, music is fantastic, controls are smooth, difficulty curve feels right. And I like the bite-sized missions. Having A LOT of fun with this one. Immediately bought the two perma IAPs to support the dev for making this gem. Highly recommended. sone87 likes this. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #6 metalcasket, Nov 15, 2022 Yeah, nothing but praise here. I understand about the problem of the dash and I have submitted a new update to fix this. Now to perform a dash you should to do a bigger movement and with this it should not to perform if you don't want to do it. I think that is the better or maybe the easier solution for this moment. The idea of perform the dash with a second finger sounds really good and I'll keep in mind for the next updates. The only problem is that some users also want to attack with this second finger and initially this game was designed to be played with one hand and it's so difficult to make a good decisions to everyone but I'll keep in mind all feedback. Would make this become a completely different game. It‘s all about great positioning and outrunning mobs. But really cool that you joined this forum. Welcome, and congrats again! tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,082 55 48 #10 tops2, Nov 18, 2022 Been playing a lot and having fun. It does feel like a grind though with so many similar missions. There's no synergies between skills from what I have tried (I'm on the 3rd map and seem to have unlocked all skills?) so the game feels a bit like a basic version of Vampire Survivors.. Maybe 2 quality of life updates: 1. When I complete an old mission (to "star"/perfect a level), the map screen defaults to the latest mission I haven't completed. Gets tedious to try an old level (whether complete or fail), then have to select the map then scroll back to retry another older mission. It would be nice if the map stays on the screen and mission that I selected. 2. Maybe a little "B" symbol or skull symbol (or some other symbol) on the screen showing which level has the end of level bosses. Totally not necessary..but at the moment, I try making a specific build for bosses. Either case, not a deal breaker. Fun game! Got up to the 4th survival mission where you have to beat a bunch of bosses and gave up. I can barely activate the dash ability so I can't dodge the boss attacks at all. I usually use the same thumb as the hand that holds the phone and can't swipe "long" enough to activate dash. Maybe later tonight I should try using my index finger of the free hand...but then this defeats the one handed way to play. I didn't need dash for the whole game until I reached this survival boss mission. Maybe one option is put optional dash buttons on the bottom left and right corners of the screen. Or allow second finger touch from anywhere. This secondary press activated dash in the same direction the player is moving. naghihimutuc and decript like this. Otherwise, I really like this and agree that the short, objective-based runs are way better for mobile than the 20 minute runs of the original inspiration and other mobile competition. You almost have to lift your finger off the screen and make a full phone-width swipe. I honestly liked it how it was originally. Maybe the dev would consider a sensitivity slider, or even the option to pick the old way or the new. It hasn’t stopped me from playing, but I do take a lot more hits because the swipes are unresponsive when there’s no time to make a full swipe. I’m now on to “Torment” map as a 3 star Demon Knight and beat the first 2 levels of the Survival mode. tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,082 55 48 #15 tops2, Nov 23, 2022 Last edited: Nov 23, 2022 So last night, I was able to beat Survival mode level 4. But feels "cheap" as I spent time going through old missions to star them for fun. Eventually was able to level up the physical attack stat to max (and did upgrade HP and attack speed a bit too). Was able to beat all the bosses. I can beat this missions now maybe 75% times on the first try without dashing. But I do need the HP boost to survive some attacks. I guess I used the classic "over level" cheese strategy to beat it! I've now beaten the whole game so just going though the rest of the missions to star them for fun. Anotherkellydown likes this. Echoen Well-Known Member May 16, 2012 2,114 3 38 USA #16 Echoen, Nov 30, 2022 Pretty decent game and I gladly paid to get rid of the ads plus the gold multiplier. I've played a number of Vampire Survivor-likrgames on my PC and Steam Deck and was looking for a mobile fix without the usual mobile gaming predatory IAP nuances. Total time to finish all stages once is very roughly around 8 hours. Probably a lot less Since it's hard to keep track when you can hop in and out of a session. The skills are neat with some being a lot more powerful than the rest. It's an overall refined feel of the genre, suitable for gaming on the go. The one thing I really disliked is it is very hard to dodge. You need huge swipes do pull one off. A dodge button would be good or some tuning with the swipe mechanic. I like that the stages are fixed to one of two missions: survive for a few minutes or kill a few hundred monsters. A little bite of fun here and there! I would love to have an endless mode too. And maybe another layer of powerups to go with that. Farm survival stage 4 once you can start killing a few of the targets because it's the fastest way to earn gold. You should be able to start killing stuff with a bit of patience starting at around sword level 22 and when your dodge cooldown is about 0.8 seconds. Once you start beating it consistently, it takes less than 2 minutes to earn ~8k. Not even the last stage rewards that much. Favorite skills are Thunderstorm and Holy Power.
