Played it often on Steam and a really fun game. I’m writing to ask if anyone else has one issue… I have an Ipad Pro 11” 3rd Gen and when I face the bosses (3rd, 6th and last circle) I cannot tap on them and their stats are hidden out of the screen! Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks! Wall Jump Games Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2020 169 88 28 Male #12 Wall Jump Games, Oct 27, 2022 Last edited: Oct 30, 2022 Welp, I’m in love. The game is really a good challenge, with a bunch of interesting strategies and close calls and it’s at the very least on par with Slay the Spire. It really appeals to the huge armies of monsters thing that I love so much in CCGs, and it’s practically the only deckbuilder roguelike that gives me that thrill. Covenant 0 is very easy however, as it took me two runs to clear it (one on Game Pass and then one on Mobile), and I am atrocious at StS, having only even reached the final boss once and not really being consistent at reach level 2. The strategy of this just clicks for me. I’m also happy to report it’s a really good mobile port, although the port is probably the weakest element for me, as I wish it was a bit snappier, although it makes sense that it takes some extra input so you don’t miss tap as that would be very frustrating. Just a nitpick, and I do think it’s fine that the input systems are the way they are. Just getting tooltips feels a bit inefficient. Overall a brilliant port of a brilliant game I’ve been putting of trying for 2 years. It’s time to get consumed by this (whenever I’m not getting consumed by my long overdue first playthrough of Persona 5 Royal) squarezero, jkluk23, Ijipop and 3 others like this. I love it so far, seems really good and I can’t wait to play more. I think I did pretty good for my first ever run on the game and I think maybe I made it to the last boss of the run but surely not? Some debuff seraph I can’t remember its name sorry. But got it down to 300 health and lost unfortunately. Can’t wait to give it another play, I’ve picked the other clan for my next run to see what their champion is like. The only two tiny gripes I have so far don’t really matter but I’d like if the hit box was a bit bigger for sliding up and down train floors it seems unnecessarily small and also I’d like to be able to disable that starting video whenever I launch the app. Attached Files: 8E387FA3-9D84-4E2B-B63B-1369DB4249A3.png File size: 2.7 MB Views: 3 ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 970 141 43 #16 ShinHadoukin, Oct 31, 2022 I would also like I would also like an option to remove the tap triangles to move floors. Didn’t reach Ascension 20 yet, but during “normal” gameplay I’m consistently reaching heart. I’m aware that this game exists but it never occurred to me to give it a try. Mostly because there are multiple mentions in the reviews that gameplay contains some Tower defense elements which is a genre I genuinely hate. Like that typical tower defense stuff of multiple waves of enemies following a path and whatnot. So my question is, how bad is it? Does it feel like a core gameplay mechanics or is it “barely noticeable”? I’d like to give this game a try, and mobile feels like a perfect platform to do so. Any thoughts? On the other hand I was expecting much bigger activity here in this thread considering stellar reviews on Steam, but it feels like the game isn’t getting as much love and/or recognition. How come? ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #18 ste86uk, Nov 1, 2022 @macplash Honestly I can see why some might mention tower defence but honestly to me it’s nothing like one. Basically the train has 3 floors plus the top floor with your pyre on it, you place cards on the first 3 floors to kill enemies and stop them reaching your pyre as they enter through the bottom floor and go up one floor each turn if not killed. I wouldn’t worry about not liking tower defences games for putting you off on this one. So there’s no really planning paths to defend or which tower is best and having a mix etc, it’s a set path and all about your units and spells and artefacts etc. As for why it’s not getting more attention here? Since I’ve come back it feels very quiet around here so it doesn’t surprise me, plus I bet some people don’t like the price point being on the higher end for an iOS game. Other than that some people I know feel a bit burnt out on the genre and if it’s not any of these above reasons they are morons. I didn’t know what to expect having never played it before or heard of it and genuinely I’m really enjoying the game. I’ve only spent about 3 hours on it so far as my time is tight but I’ve loved it all, each run you choose a main clan and an ally clan which mixes up gameplay as your choice gives you different card pools. You earn exp if you win the run or fail the run which goes towards each clan you choose for that run and unlocks more cards for them, you start with two clans and after my second run which I won I unlocked a third clan which I’m looking forward to checking out. I felt maybe it was a bit easy? Since I beat it on my second run but it has an ascension like system also which increases the difficulty I believe it said there are 25 levels of this. But instantly after beating the game for the first time I knew I’d be spending a lot more time with this game and also purchased the DLC. LordGek, Ijipop, aussiepaul and 1 other person like this.
