It started as a small fun game around the office back in 2015 and then it got placed on the shelf, picked it up when I was stuck on another project and then finished it. So in a way I'm getting closure to finally release this to the world! ZombieKillerNOLA likes this. Something about digging games hooks me really hard. Haccer is a fairly straightforward one where your main goal is to go as deep as you can while avoiding the bomb bursts. The bombs aren’t triggered unless you dig into one, at which point it explodes in a “+” shaped pattern. If part of the explosion touches another bomb, that one will detonate as well, leading to some large chain reactions. I find it best to avoid the bombs whenever possible, but I think they play into your score multiplier somehow. Also I think it holds up as both a “time killing” style game, and an intense score chasing, I lost an hour playing style title. Kudos to the Dev and team! Yeah the bombs do add to the multiplier if you detonate enough within a quick timeframe. But some strategies are to avoid them at the start. But who knows what's really best This made me very happy! Big fan, love talking to you in Vimlark’s chat, but I’ve never been able to play Hoplegs (damned MacOS), so I’m really excited to check this out! Looks cool from the store page, and I expect great things! AnderssonKev Member Oct 20, 2019 23 12 3 Male Game Developer https://twitter.com/AnderssonKev #9 AnderssonKev, Oct 19, 2022 Oh hello! I love hanging out in Vimlarks chat! Yeah sorry, Hoplegs is only meant to hurt Windows and Switch users haha! I really appreciate it, hope you have fun. So far people seem to like it! Wall Jump Games Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2020 169 88 28 Male #10 Wall Jump Games, Oct 20, 2022 So I’ve had this for 2 days now and I am in love! For the last few weeks I’ve been looking for exactly this kind of game and it has sucked me in. Whenever I open my phone it’s just become and assessment of whether or not I can fit in a run of Haccer or not. I disagree about trying to avoid bombs, because as far as I can tell blowing up bombs gives you points and the explosions are so small in the first area it’s hard to die. I’m 4th on score and 12th on depth, which puts me one before @AnderssonKev on score, and above everyone else on the TA forums, and I’m above @Anotherkellydown but below @Brightsiderus on depth (I’m going to beat you, get practicing). I love this game so much it is literally a perfect mobile game. One question though is while holding down why can’t you move side to side? It would make speed so much more fun and easier to control, since you aren’t effectively getting 100% stopped in your tracks every time you see a bomb. aussiepaul likes this.
