Hope it’s a good port. Terrible icon though. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #3 Rocksaint, Oct 4, 2022 Brilliant game for people who haven’t played this before. Sadly I have on PC. But I never got around to finishing it. Now starting from scratch on mobile feels like too much of an effort. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #4 ste86uk, Oct 4, 2022 @Rocksaint I nearly purchased the physical when it released on switch but then ended up selling my switch unfortunately. So I’m really happy it’s come to iOS as I was really looking forward to it on switch but never got the chance to play it. Rocksaint likes this. Maybe one of the reasons why I lost interest while playing it on PC. ste86uk likes this. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #6 squarezero, Oct 4, 2022 So far, the port seems great — I’m only 30 mins in, but the touch controls are good, and art, production, writing, etc. are excellent. It’s from Playdigious, and they have a decent reputation. aussiepaul, Anotherkellydown, ste86uk and 1 other person like this. The resource management and crafting gives a feeling of a sidescrolling Stardew Valley. And the art and world reminds me a bit of the worlds Hayao Miyazaki creates. A great flawless ios port. Best played on an ipad to get sucked into this beautiful world. squarezero likes this. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #8 squarezero, Oct 6, 2022 Last edited: Oct 6, 2022 I’m usually not the audience for this kind of resource management and crafting game, but there’s something about the vibe of Spiritfarer that’s bringing me back time and time again. Just hope I don’t start crying uncontrollably. Lol. I started it when it came to Game Pass but it’ll be nice to have a mobile version that I can sit on the couch and get engrossed in for an hour or two here and there. Although generally I’m not one for stories and getting to know people in a game for eg on Stardew Valley I’m much happier if I just farm and strategise and don’t bother with the people at all (like a hermit) But I’ll see how it goes, so far so good and I like collecting things, building and upgrading etc so that gives me a nice goal and maybe my heart of stone will be moved by the game eventually with everyone saying it’s sad.
