So clever, controls are smart (and adjustable), the look is gorgeous, it's just ticking all the boxes. When I saw there would be no jumping on a PLATFORMER, I had reservations, but the fall mechanic makes up for it in spades. Watch for hidden pathways, they're everywhere! Hope everyone enjoys. anthony78, Anotherkellydown and squarezero like this. I prefer the more typical movements in platformers. This iteration is more deliberate even when picking up the speed in the settings. The only advantage I can think of is offering more precision prior to falling off the ledge but one can adjust while airborne. A minor niggle, albeit, but a head-scratcher. It'd be cool if the dev could chime in on this rather than speculating. It’s easily my favorite game of the year on iOS. The more I play the more amazed at how brilliantly designed the levels are. Even if this had used traditional platforming mechanics, it still would have been special. Also don’t look just at the fact that there’s timers and gems to get, every level feels like an adventure. It will be in my top mobile games of all time. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #12 psj3809, Sep 14, 2022 Thanks a ton for keeping this thread active Somehow didn't check out the game until today after reading some of the comments, its excellent ! Anyway I can only agree with the comments above, it’s absolutely brilliant - the swipe controls feel weird for about a minute, then it clicks and it controls beautifully. It’s such a shame it’s only on Netflix - along with things like Wonderputt 2 there’s some really great stuff but I really could never justify paying the subscription if I didn’t have it already for the films/tv etc. #Bonk3rZ Well-Known Member Mar 20, 2014 335 36 28 top of the world #15 #Bonk3rZ, Sep 15, 2022 Last edited: Sep 15, 2022 I always wonder why I never see anyone complaining about this model. Do you guys really all have Netflix? Where I live this isn't even a thing. I know exactly one (1!) person, who's got an Netflix account, and of course I'm not gonna buy one so I can play app store games lol. Real shame they don't offer an alternative, like free for their users, and x bucks for everyone else. That would be marketing! The way it is it feels like a big ef you in my face. This is like the third game I'd really love to try, but simply can't. (Hence my little rant here, sorry for that.) What baffles me most is that I can even download the game, from the app store, to my iphone, but to play the game I need to insert the login for a tv streaming service. Is this legal? Does Tim Apple know they do this? Sucks. [/rant] psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #16 psj3809, Sep 15, 2022 Everyone I know has Netflix. Can you get logon details from a friend ?
