Each puzzle has it’s own rules and mechanics that you’ll need to figure out through observation and trial and error; once you do, you’ll need to time each move to near perfection. This is the kind of game where you can fail a level 15 times and know exactly what you did wrong each time. I’m seven levels in a loving it. Highly recommended. ste86uk, Anotherkellydown and Stronsay like this. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #3 orangecan, Aug 20, 2022 Any ideas how many levels there are? It looks like there are only 12 from the menu and as much as I’ve enjoyed playing the first 3 I blasted through those in about 5 minutes and I’m not sure how long the rest will last - but I do agree with all your comments I’m tempted to buy the full unlock regardless elcrazy likes this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #4 elcrazy, Aug 20, 2022 This was my exact same reaction. I played it the first day o saw it before reading the comment. I did really enjoy it. Almost more like a toy. Very well done and lots of fun. But the first 3 levels took me 5-10 mins to three star them all. Looks like only 12 levels total. It’s not even the money just feels like so little content I’ll be done so fast. As fun as they are there isn’t much replay value once you 3 starred a machine. It is really well done though. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #5 squarezero, Aug 20, 2022 There are 12 levels. Unless I’m really bad at this (which is always a possibility ), the levels get a lot more challenging as you go on. Still, I expect there’s at most a couple hours worth of gameplay here. Which works for me. Anotherkellydown likes this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #6 elcrazy, Aug 21, 2022 I ended up buying it. It’s great. I will play it slow. I don’t think there are hours of gameplay here but there is a good hours worth. It’s in the same realm as monument valley. What you get is very high quality and more of an experience than a game. Again this one reminds me of a virtual toy. It’s well done I just hope more levels are on the way. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #7 squarezero, Aug 21, 2022 It took me about 20 mins to beat level 8. That, sir, was no virtual toy. It was an evil contraption designed to get people to throw their phones across the room. Needless to say, it was fun . orangecan likes this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #8 elcrazy, Aug 21, 2022 lol the difficulty definitely ramps up on the purchased levels. They are longer more fun and some thought is needed at times. And I don’t say virtual toy as a bad thing. In fact in this case it’s a compliment. It makes me want one of these in physical form to play with. Each new level feels like some cool toy you’re playing with. I like it a lot. I just wish there was more so I wasn’t afraid to play lol. I want to savor it. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #9 squarezero, Aug 21, 2022 Oh, I agree — just kidding around! The physics engine is on point, and it does make every puzzle feel really tactile, like a toy. It’s not like you’re hitting a switch; you can blow a move because you tapped too hard. Glad you’re enjoying it. And you’re right: this is a game to savor. I do hope they had more levels — will gladly pay for them. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #10 macplash, Aug 21, 2022 On the iPad, when I tap that button next to settings (in the lower left corner) which I guess is for achievements, there’s no way to go back. I guess it’s a scaling issue due to aspect ratio on the iPad. Judging by the missing rounded corners on top of the screen in comparison to lower part. This should’ve been caught during testing. All I can do is to force close the app and avoid tapping on it ever again. I’m going to hold on about purchasing the full game until this issue is fixed because I wouldn’t want to run into similar scaling issue during gameplay in later stages with more complicated (and “taller”) machines not fitting correctly on my screen. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #11 orangecan, Aug 21, 2022 Yeah I cracked and bought it, absolutely loving it still, it definitely gets tougher and even if I only get a few hours fun out of it it’s worth it. On iPad (mini 6) the level menu looks like this: And this is on iPhone 11 Pro Max: In order to leave this screen, you have to tap in the darker grey area at the bottom. I tried on iPad but there’s no place to touch, so you have to close and reopen the game if you want to get back to the main screen. Also, I can’t seem to figure out the cloud save, but I don’t mind replaying the first 4 levels again. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #15 macplash, Aug 21, 2022 I’m gaming on iPad mini 6 as well. So I guess it might be specific for this device’s aspect ratio since @orangecan doesn’t have any issues on his iPad Pro 2nd gen. Although I wasn’t aware there are such different aspect ratios between iPads. I guess 3:2 vs 4:3 difference is more significant than I thought after all. Anyway, let’s hope the fix is on its way.
