This is actually one of the lessons learned making this game: the worldbuilding is making it more difficult to get into the game. Using common tropes and words for things makes things more boring, but more accessible. While I usually suck at grid-based TBS games, and therefore Into the Breach didn‘t really hook me, this one just did. Absolutely love this game. Great design, brilliant mechanics. It‘s a new mobile favorite of mine that won‘t leave my device anytime soon. I can’t seem to get to level 13 lol. Usually die around 7 or 8. Game is very hard. Doesn’t seem so for the first couple levels but then it’s all she wrote pretty quick. It would be cool if it had more between game progression. Would love a skill tree you could spend money on between games. Be able to upgrade your skills a bit slowly so that you can get stronger over time. One of those skill tress where you can turn it back down if you want a good challenge again. that was just a thought. It is a great game. I’ll buy the full version. But man it’s hard. Would be nice to hit level 13 first on the lite and have it tell me to buy the full lol.
