In the Campaign Game, the “Dungeon Delve”, captured treasure gets you loot to level up your team, which you need to delve deeper into the dungeon. The loot includes better equipment cards, AND spell cards. It’s been a long time since I played Dungeon Solitaire, but this is pretty much exactly how I remember it. It’s a fun, quick, fantasy themed card game that’s very easy to learn. Also, the tutorial is done right. It, takes about 2 minutes and will teach you everything you need to play. GxM42 likes this. Having Heroes that chase downwards is very helpful for this (although sometimes I’ll push a creature off the top just to get rid of it). Otherwise, Petrification is the strongest ability in the game! In the Dungeon Delve mode, you can also Fatigue difficult enemies by sacrificing a few heroes against it. As for strategy, I try to match stats so it’s easier to kill guys when equipment comes out. For example, put a 1/4 vs a 1/5, rather than a 1/4 vs a 3/2. That makes it more likely to get a weapon that can finish them off. Also, ignore treasure, for now. If just playing the standard game, you don’t need it unless you want to move up the leaderboards. Lastly, try not to use equipment that pushes UP unless absolutely necessary. You really want monsters pushed down away from the top. But if you get any, I think the potions expansions are the best in terms of giving you options and messing around with stats.
