Granted I’ve only played this for 10 minutes, I really am liking it. Surfing theme is different and fun. Haven’t seen any ads and currency only appears to be for cosmetics and if you want continues (opt in ads also available for continues). Dual currencies with iap up to 50 bucks for cosmetics and continues only? I was already wondering when I clicked the gear tab for the first time to look for some upgrades to spend my money on and there weren't any stats whatsoever. The only explanation I can come up with is that the gear was originally planned to be upgrades (like this hat comes with a coin magnet, this board with one more score multiplier and so on), and that they abandoned the idea later on for some reason.
