Equipments get identified upon pickup, potions can be only drunk or dropped, etc. I wish the regen was a bit faster or the player character starts with a few healing methods though. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #6 anthony78, Jul 11, 2022 I like it from what I’ve played but it’s way too hard IMO. If you don’t luck out finding items, there’s a good probability you’ll die in your first battle. That’s a bit extreme. I’ll keep at it but relies too much on chance to get very far. Jstorm Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2020 1,082 474 83 Male Employed Earth #7 Jstorm, Jul 11, 2022 I gotta agree the game is a bit too reliant on gears. I went as far as the 4th floor, but perks don’t really impact the gameplay. Equipment requirements being Str and starting characters being Agi focused characters is not helping either. Lull4by Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 767 313 63 #8 Lull4by, Jul 11, 2022 I would say even you are a “mage” in this game you still need to put some points into str for wearing higher level equipment. The game is really old school IMO, you don’t even know what equipment str requirement is until you purchased it from the shopkeeper, but I think it is fine since I would try to record them. And then I stick to that. But I forwarded your idea to the dev. In case he implements it, I added that when using the touch interface a toggle could happen via two finger tap. AltsKev likes this. Glad this saves often. It’s great to be able to quit and start right where you were as runs can take a little while. My run only lasted 22 minutes but I only made it to the 4th level. Gloomgrave is a perfect fit for mobile. Looking forward to completing more runs for the unforeseen future. gaberaph, Truncana and Lull4by like this. It would be cool if there were additional difficulties or something but that doesn’t seem to be the case. It was just snowballing after reaching depth 5… The game is a bit too simple for me to try other classes. The game probably needs active skills, a mage class, equipment restriction other than Str, and most importantly, a larger dungeon. Lull4by Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 767 313 63 #16 Lull4by, Jul 13, 2022 Last edited: Jul 13, 2022 Just beat the game with both rogue and ranger, I agreed the game needs more contents, this game is still early access on Steam though. About the Rogue, I suggest at least put 1 point to Str, so you can wear Leather Armor (str require 5), then you can put all your points into Agi, with a perk named “Monster’s Eye”, you can guaranteed a hit once you dodge an attack. About the Ranger, I would say even you are a ranger, you still need to do a lot of close combat, so just prepare 2 type of weapons, range and melee, try to get a perk that make you invisible when you do critical hit, then you would be fine. When you went to depth 7, you would meet the most powerful enemy named "Minotaur” IMO, basically he would test how your equipment are good enough or just a failure totally, so just prepare for him. Even the hero are dead in the game, you still have chance to find the grave of dead hero in the next run, you would get their equipments once you find it. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
