Instantly pre-ordered of course. I haven't been this excited in a long time. I haven't found many good premium games that fit my taste in the past year. I hope this is as good as the first if not better, they've been working diligently on it for many years. gaberaph, jkluk23 and Solarclipse like this. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #6 Rocksaint, Jun 22, 2022 It’s out now in my region. Do check the app store though. It might not auto-download to your device. I had it preordered but still had to manually download it from the app store. Anyway, with that out. Early impressions, LOVE IT! Doesn’t waste much time in putting you right into the thick of things. Gameplay is super smooth. Anyone who played the first will feel right at home. Graphics are quite soothing. Has a hand-sketched vibe to it. Performance is top-notch. No heating and barely any battery drain after ~1 hour of gameplay. I am quite surprised by the challenge factor. It’s refreshing. Generally games are easy-going in the beginning but I had characters getting knocked out early in the game. Do utilise the gear, spells and potions when in town from the beginning itself. They help. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Especially after all the Diablo Immoral bitterness. This game is exactly why I fell in love with mobile gaming in the first place. gaberaph, houseofg, triwolf and 3 others like this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #7 ste86uk, Jun 22, 2022 Can’t see it on my store yet but I preordered too as soon as it went up as how could I not support this? It’s marvelous: great FF-like story, cool graphics, but I feel that it’s very hard. Usually money are not enough to buy all the equipment you want, almost every monster throwing curses at you, so you get massive DoT damage. Yeah, you can sacrifice damage skill for skill that can do cleanse, but still I always feel overwhelmed. Next. Heroes get experience based on their participation in the battle. If you don’t need other heroes in fight, they get 0 experience and don’t level up often. But it’s still a great game worth waiting gaberaph likes this. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #14 L.Lawliet, Jun 23, 2022 Wow what an incredible game. The quality is top notch. Like... Wow. The attack animations are really well-done (combo animations and all), smooth matching gameplay, battle voice acting, fancy interface, even the backgrounds are beautiful. And of course it looks like they added tons of customization. I can't wait to play more. The good or bad, is the game is definitely much harder than the original. The battles last a lot longer and they've added an revive mechanic where your character will revive after 7 turns has passed. I already died a ton and I'm only at the first quest. Oh I guess it looks like translation is a lot better than the first but still suffers from occasional grammatical errors. I wonder why they didn't hire a fluent English proof reader? It's not terrible though, as the story is perfectly understandable. There's also some typos I found. houseofg likes this. Only after a few updates it became more forgiving for newcomers with addition of different difficulty mode. It's too soon for me to judge, I went through tutorial in the morning. I'll sink myself into it over the weekend, so I'm curious about the difficulty. I'll share my thoughts later for sure. Most importantly, the game's finally here.. Yay! I haven’t seen mechanics that a player can intervene with the puzzle itself, such as converting tiles to other colors or removing a raw/column. dukat111 Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2010 514 94 28 #18 dukat111, Jun 23, 2022 Is there a list somewhere explaining what tiles do what? The hearts are pretty clear but unsure about the others. Figure knowing what hero is going next and which tiles will do what for that hero is key for strategy. Perhaps I haven't gotten far enough in the tutorial yet where that is explained. Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,234 540 113 #19 Brightsiderus, Jun 23, 2022 its pretty simple: there are four types of tiles, one color represent each hero. Hearts for Odelia, Sword for Zack, Droplets for CID and Shield for Lucien. When you match hero symbols, that hero does action.
