Pretty sweet game! Controller support, Game Center, Auto-save and sensitivity adjustments for both touch and controller. I tried my iPhone and iPad. I had some crashes on iPhone but none on iPad. I also enjoy playing a bit more on the mini than phone but they’re both great (other than the aforementioned iPhone crashes). If you’re like me you’ll love the unique style James puts in his games. It’s hard to find unique shooters and this is one of them. Also by an indie dev (bonus points). squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #3 squarezero, Jun 8, 2022 Played a couple games and really enjoyed it. No different levels and no permanent upgrades? I love shooters that have permanent upgrades and different ships, if it does then I’ll get it for sure, if the dev will add more in the future, I’ll gladly buy it to support him as I kind of like it but find it a bit empty as it is for now. There are no permanent upgrades, only what you collect during each run. And there is only one ship. It’s actually pretty bare-bones when it come to extra features. You pretty much play one continuous level, fighting bosses every few waves until you run out of hearts. There’s a combo that increases as long as you don’t take damage, but it’s reset if you do. Rinse and repeat to get the highest score. Personally, I really like the game. And the crashes I mentioned in the first post haven’t happened since that first time I played. The dev also just added an update that made the hit box smaller and some other tweaks. Hope that helps Hulkino, djstout and squarezero like this. djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #7 djstout, Jun 16, 2022 Lovely, I’ll keep an eye on it, I like the look of it. And the first thing I have to say is that it pains me to see such sparse leaderboards. I only hope for this game to receive some recognition because it's really solid. For me it has a lot of ZX Spectrum's R-Type vibes. I love relative touch controls being implemented by default which in combination with smooth performance and flawless responsivnes makes this game such enjoyable. If you screw it up, it's your fault. You can't blame it on the game. I'm a big fan of shmups but of bullet hell not so much, so it's a very thin line for me with these genres. Luckily for me the latter is present only during boss fights, so I can handle it. Long story short, this is a pretty great highscore chaser focused on avoiding getting hit for as long as possible. It's visually very stylish and it sounds at least as good as it looks (lightning effects are awesome). I highly recommend to give it a try. Not only to support the dev for making it a fully premium title without any f2p shenanigans, but mostly because it's really fun to play.
