Hello! Almora Darkosen is my long-term project which I have been working on for almost 10 years alone. The game is being developed in Game Maker Studio 2 and has been available on Google Play for over a year and now on App Store!. Almora Darkosen is a retro style hack and slash, role-playing game set in a fantasy world. Talk to the NPCs and complete quests for them. Follow the main storyline and discover new locations. The huge Almora Island contains different locations: fields, swamps, forests, dark forests, towns, crypts, caves, deserts and other... Almora is also a tactical game. Rush in this game is not always advisable... Mercenaries are very helpfull, usually are stronger than you. ☆ Monsters: Fight with bosses and different monsters with special abilities: flying, crawling, summoning other monsters, casting spells, poisoning, reborning, healing, disappearing and more… ☆ Boats and portals: If you have enough of walking, you can always use a paid boat. You can travel to places you previously discovered. ☆ Minigames: Play Almorian mini games for gold and tokens in the Taverns and hidden places. Collect Almora Tokens to craft better gear and items. ☆ NPC: talk with all NPCs with their stories and quests. ☆ Skills: Use active and passive skills. You can choose Your skill path, fire or poison, Use the healing skills to heal You and Your mercenaries. On some 4:3 tablets the screen is strangely stretched, this can be remedied by turning off the "Force full screen" option, then black bars will be added to the screen, but at least it will not be distorted. I’ve played about three hours and it only gets better. Serious Diablo 2 vibes here with gear, loot drops and skills. I’ve played Diablo immortal until level 40 and I haven’t died once or even been challenged. After being disappointed by Diablo Immortal, finding a one-man love letter to ARPGs with this much quality is like something out of a story or movie where the hero appears at the last minute. Another really awesome thing about this game is the developer is not only super active in all of the iOS gaming communities, but also discusses the design decisions and thought processes that went into making the game. The webpage in particular goes over this methodology in the FAQ and tells you not just "what" the game system is, but "why". Indeed, I am doing my best to help players understand the mechanics of the game and properly prepare them for their journey around the island of Almora Contrary to appearances, Almora Darkosen is not an easy game, but after understanding its mechanics and rules, it is quite easy. There are really a lot of players who have repeatedly completed this game in different ways and want to increase the difficulty level. This is one of the reasons I'm currently working on additional game modes. Something similar to Diablo, that we can play the game again after finishing it, but with an increased level of difficulty There will also be a "Simplified" mode, it will be a standard mode with some facilitations and less strength of opponents.
