The controls are simple: turn left, turn right, and drift. Don't let this simplicity fool you. The car's nuances during a drift will put your will and determination to the test. Sticking to it is worth the effort (getting that perfect drift feels so damn good). Reach a state of flow as you try to beat your best times on Akina, Usui, Myogi, and Iro Hazaka Pass. But it’s by the dev behind A Dark Room and A Noble Circle so there may be more here than the screenshots can convey. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #3 Stronsay, Jun 1, 2022 I did get this in view of the dev’s pedigree and his challenge in the description...”you probably won’t make it past the first corner”…which was correct; so the title is somewhat misleading. It should be called ‘A Car That Doesn’t Turn’. Steering and drifting controls are hyper-sensitive and very difficult, which I guess is the whole point. However, if you like to do six impossible things before breakfast it’s a great place to start. I think what makes A Car That Turns (sic) compulsive is the speed of reloading. Every crash prompts an instant reload and continue from the last checkpoint - zero waiting time reduces the frustration of inevitable failure. Spolier - eventually made it round the first corner resulting in much merriment. Anotherkellydown likes this. And I think it shows in all following releases. He‘s getting a little too much credit in my eyes. Anotherkellydown and Stronsay like this. Not so bad once I got the drift. Turn into corners early, especially hairpins. Feeling a great sense of achievement.
