Here’s a scenario: let’s say that you play the game at work during your breaks. EA could sell your usage and location to a third party employee management service used by your boss. They could even send chat content where you may have used “salty” language. Personally, that’s not a concern, but for other people, that maybe a real possibility. Stronsay likes this. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #13 Talbs, May 19, 2022 Honest question. What is it that you despise about CoDm compared to this. I’ve played plenty of CoDm, and IMO it nails both the regular multiplayer (which I don’t think this has?) and the battle Royal mode. I’ve just done playing a few rounds of Apex legends……and I’m just not seeing why I would change over to Apex. IMO, graphics aren’t as clear at least not for me, and the battle Royal pretty well seems similar, so may as well stick with CoDm which has already got that nailed down anyway (if I’m not playing the regular multiplayer). So why this over CoDm? Wall Jump Games Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2020 169 88 28 Male #14 Wall Jump Games, May 19, 2022 I assume the person you are responding to doesn’t like the shooting or something in CODM (I haven’t played it) and PUBG, but it felt right for them in Apex. Also, CODM’s BR is not THAT similar to Apex. All BRs have things in common (Looting, Shooting, Rings of Death, etc.) but beyond that they each have their own flourish. CODM’s flourish is COD. It is a COD game, but a BR. Same shooting, same everything, different context and there is loot added. Apex’s flourish(es) are it being a Hero Shooter and it being very heavily team-based (no solo queue). The character you pick has unique abilities, which allow you to help yourself and your team in combat, and learning to work as a team is an important part of the skill curve. If you are tired of regular BRs, the very unique twists on the genre that Apex uses could be what you need, or you could just already be a fan of PC. You personally don’t want to switch over, it clearly just hasn’t clicked with you. For some people, like the guy you are responding to, Apex does click, where others haven’t. It’s the same with me. It also pulls in a wider range with it’s PEGI 12/12+ rating as compared the CODM PEGI 16/17+ rating. Also it does have TDM and 3v3 elimination. Hope this helps Nonstickron Well-Known Member Sep 24, 2009 312 32 28 Graphic Artist / Pre-Press Central Florida http://www.rgdesignhouse.com #15 Nonstickron, May 20, 2022 Is it all bots?
